6 ways to style a kid’s room on a budget. Best of Pinterest award 2017 shortlisted.

It was a pleasure to be recently asked by new homes builder, Keepmoat, to create some photos for their home inspiration gallery.

The request came at the perfect time, because I was planning on giving my son’s room a little Spring refresh.

Coincidentally I have also recently received wonderful news that I’ve been shortlisted for 3 Best of Pinterest award, including Best Kids bedroom, workspace and kitchen 2017.

Ever since I started blogging 4.5 years ago, my son’s room have undergone a series of makeovers.

I always do it on a small budget, changing around a few accessories such as wall prints, cushions, duvet covers and bed throws. You will see what I mean as you scroll through the images. This is his nautical theme room using predominantly primary colours and stripes.I have styled this room in blue and yellow hues to match the round rug I was sent all the way from Australia. This bedroom was styled in a British Icons theme. As you can see, the duvet cover has images of London buses and taxis. This was his Christmas bedroom. Think ‘Home Alone’ style, but an updated version.
This is one of my favourites, and the pin that has been nominated for the Pinterest award.

It is bright and sunny, so the perfect place to visit on a dreary British Winter’s day.

I have written my 4 steps to an affordable Spring refresh for a boy’s bedroom over on Keepmoat. The tips will be live next week, so do check back.

Hope you’ve enjoyed browsing through this post on ‘6 ways to style a kid’s room on a budget’. Have a wonderful day.
