LEGO Art set featuring Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe

LEGO ArtPop art and LEGO are two things I love. So imagine my excitement when I found out about LEGO Art.

It’s a LEGO set for creating your own wall art.

When I saw they had a set with Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe in 4 colourways, I knew I had to try it.

As you can see, the finished product is already displayed in my workspace. The instructions for creating this iconic piece of art is so easy to follow.

In fact, I found building this rather relaxing. It was the perfect way to disconnect, de-stress and recharge after a busy day’s work in the A+E department.LEGO ArtThe colours are so happy and vibrant.

Whilst building, I got to listen to an exclusive soundtrack about Warhol that came with the set. All you have to do is scan the code in the manual with your phone, and the track opens up .

Did you know that Warhol based his colourful portraits of Marilyn on a black and white publicity photo of her from the 1953 film Niagara?

Then, he’d sell his artwork for as little as USD 250. If only I was there to snap up one of his art pieces.

I’m so pleased to have this gorgeous set. It fits in with the colours of my yellow workspace don’t you think?LEGO ArtHere’s the Marilyn LEGO Art set up close.LEGO ArtI decided to try placing it in my pink workspace. It really works well here too don’t you think? The set comprise 4 colourways. I think I might make the one in blue, yellow and pink this weekend.

These LEGO Art Set would be great as Christmas gifts. They have them in The Beatles, Iron Man and Star Wars ‘The Sith’ versions too.

In this current climate with all the news on Covid, I think it’s important to have time to ourselves, for our mental wellbeing, to do something that could help us unwind.

I certainly found building this Warhol LEGO art set a relaxing experience. You should try it too.

Hope you’ve enjoyed finding out about this new product from LEGO.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.
