Porefessional by Benefit Cosmetics

Benefit-breakfast-with-a-twist-photo-by-Little-Big-BellHow cool is this breakfast invite from Benefit Cosmetics, for the launch of its new Porefessional skin priming collection? All in my favourite Tiffany blue hue.
Benefit-Cosmetics-UK_Rise-and-prime-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI’m loving all the attention to detail. Look what greeted me as I arrived at the cafe for the breakfast event.
Benefit-porefessional-matt-rescue-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI couldn’t wait to find out about the new Porefessional range.

I was certainly impressed with this life sized version of the Porefessional Matt Rescue at the door.Rise-and-Prime-breakfast-1-photo-by-Little-Big-BellThe breakfast was all kinds of wonderful and definitely ‘greasy-less’ as stated on the sign at arrival.

I had a Skinny Buttermilk Pancake served with natural yogurt, blueberries and honey. All washed down with a lovely cup of filtered coffee.

I absolutely adore that blue and white plaid table cloth.Benefit-cosmetics-Rise-and-prime-breakfast-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI loved the event so much, that I decided to reproduce the look at home for my product shoot.Benefit-cosmetics-Porefessional-1-photo-by-Little-Big-BellHere you have the new Benefit cosmetics Porefessional range – The Instant Wipeout mask and the Matt rescue gel.
Benefit-cosmetics-2016-photo-by-Geraldine-of-Little-Big-BellI couldn’t resist adding this bright pink sprinkled donut into the mix. A little harmless change to the healthy skinny pancakes and yogurt above right?

So, let me tell you about The Porefessional Matt rescue gel. I have had an opportunity to try it a few times now.

If you want to smooth over pores, get rid of excess shine or if you have slightly oilier skin, then this lightweight, water-based gel is ideal for you. Apply over your freshly cleansed face and that thin layer of application literally absorbs the excess surface oil. Pores and fine lines become visibly less.

Now for that top secret ingredient. Can you believe it contains Diamond powder?
Benefit-porefessional-instant-wipeout-mask-photo-by-Little-Big-BellHow about Benefit’s instant wipeout mask? It’s great for clearing out the pores. It’s so fun to use too. You have to press on the blue button to automatically release the cleansing fluid onto the wipes.

Place the wipes over pores around the nose, forehead or chin area to draw out those pore clogging impurities. On the other side of the wipe, is a textured fabric which you can use to help you exfoliate and remove the impurities.

The secret ingredient here is a special extract of mushroom.Benefit-Porefessional-Matt-rescue-Little-Big-BellAfter treating my pores with the Porefessional range, I’ve noticed that my skin is visibly smoother and make up application, especially after using the matt rescue gel seem to glide on much more easily.

Which one will you Rise and Prime with, or both?Benefit-cosmetics-porefessional-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI usually follow the basic skincare routine of cleanse, tone and then apply a base foundation. But I’m now convinced to start my morning routine of priming my pores before make up. It’s so quick and easy.Benefit-cosmetics-hello-flawless-foundation-photo-by-Little-Big-BellAfter the pores routine, I’m now using my new Benefit Hello flawless foundation. A sheer and smooth layer that brightens up the face. You can find your perfect skin tone match, just ask at a Benefit counter.Benefit-breakfast-with-a-twistThe excess shine may be gone but the glow of healthy pores will come through.

Apologies for more donut photos but that blue sprinkled one is the perfect colour match don’t you think?

Hope you have enjoyed this beauty themed post filled with pretty shades of blue, and that you have found the information on this new product useful. Do let me know how you find it, if you do try it.

The Porefessional range will be widely available nationwide from January 30th, only a mere few days away.

Next week, I will be back with an interiors related post, where I will show you an unseen corner of my home. Can’t wait to show you. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead.

  1. Love the tiffany blue! What a cute setup this is. I’m intrigued…is there actually ketchup in the blue “heinz” bottle? Or is there something else in it?

  2. Love that invite. Some agencies really do pull out all the stops!

  3. I love a good creatively designed invite, and that one certainly ticks all my boxes! Your home styling is as good as theirs – actually, I prefer your tablecloth.

Love the colours. The wipeout mask looks good. Must take a look next time my daughter and I in Boots (which is most times we go shopping).
