A London mural tour with Style your city for Calligaris

colourful-walls-london-little-big-bellI was recently asked by renowned Italian furniture store, Calligaris, to join their ‘style your city’ campaign. The project involved selecting two chairs from their product range, then styling and photographing them in iconic locations of London. Rather than pick the obvious iconic locations linked to London, I decided to ‘style your city’ like a new millennial. In this digital age of social media, new places are now fast becoming the new icons of London. I thought I’d take you on a London mural tour.

Introducing you to my arctic blue leather chair called Amelie.calligaris-chair-style-your-city-campaign-little-big-bellAmelie is a chair made of a wooden frame but entirely covered in leather. It’s super soft and luxurious.

This beautiful Circles wall can be found in Powis Gardens of London’s Notting hill. It’s only a stone’s throw away from the vibrant Saturday markets and vintage stores of Portobello road.papermills-studio-photo-by-little-big-bellFrom circles to diamonds. This beautiful wall is in City Garden row, Islington, North London.

Right opposite it, is Paper mills studio, where Jamie Oliver filmed his shows. Paper mills studio also run a programme of fun craft events for all.colourful-walls-tour-0f-london-little-big-bellYou will often see fashion bloggers and instagrammers taking selfies in front of this wall. I think Amelie looked perfectly at home there don’t you think?style-your-city-campaign-london-shoreditch-photo-by-little-big-bellIntroducing you to my second Calligaris chair called Claire M. This is a black leather chair with a chrome sled base.

I have photographed Claire in front of the rainbow wall on Chance street in London’s Shoreditch. Shoreditch is definitely the place to go to when visiting London. It is London’s creative hub, full of beautiful independent stores and great eateries.claire-m-chair-caligaris-photo-by-little-big-bell-copy-copyHere’s a close up shot of my chair. The leather is so smooth and soft. I also love the curved edge of the back rest.colourful-murals-london-little-big-bellAlso on Chance street is this ‘Keep calm and carry on’ wall by James Reka.colourful-walls-tour-london-little-big-bell-copyOne street down from Chance street is this alphabet wall by Ben Eine. It’s on Ebor street and is part of the wall to Shoreditch house, a private member’s club for creatives.style-your-city-with-calligaris-little-big-bellHere’s another view.camille-walala-wall-shoreditch-little-big-bellThis mural is by Camille Walala and can be found on Ebor Street, also in Shoreditch. Walala is one of UK’s most know mural artist.

I recently had the pleasure of going behind the scenes with Walala for London Design festival. carnaby-street-wall-little-big-bellNow for a change of location, on this London mural tour.

This vibrant wall can be found behind London’s Liberty store, between London’s shopping areas of Oxford street and Carnaby street. Definitely a wall to visit when you next go shopping.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my London mural tour. I have had so much fun shooting these beautiful Calligaris chairs for the ‘ Style your city’ campaign.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to your weeks.
