A Spring bedroom refresh with Joules

Joules-duvet-shells-featured-on-Little-Big-BellI am very much a Spring and Summer person, because I like the warmth and longer daylight hours. It’s now starting to feel like that in London. It’s no longer dark when I get home.

When it feels brighter, I feel happier, and with that comes a renewed sense of energy, despite working flat out in the hospital on most days.

That renewed energy means it’s time for another bedroom makeover.  I have set myself the task to restyle my niece’s bedroom for her birthday. I will be doing a Spring bedroom refresh with Joules new season bed linen collection.

I will show you when it’s completed, but first I wanted to show you the bed linen that I have selected for the refresh.

Introducing you to the beautiful Shells duvet cover(above).

Those indigo coloured shells are a little reminder of happy Summer days with the family, strolling by the British seaside in Whitstable or Cornwall.

I love the stripes on the other side of the duvet cover too. You could essentially create 2 different looks with one duvet cover.

Then there is that brilliantly fun pink piping on the edges. It goes so well with the Indigo and visually screams fun!Joules-homeware-Peony-duvetJoules has a beautiful collection of Indigo bed linen. This is the Peony duvet cover with a contrasting polka dot reverse side.

Doesn’t this room look so fresh and beautiful, with the light streaming in from two large windows?

The electric blue shade of the Indigo really pops out, when set against the jet black frames of that metal bed.bed feature[4] (1)Here is a close up view.

Who knew polka dots and floral blooms could go so well together?

In fact, I think mixing and matching the Indigo flowers, dots, stripes and shells could work to a visually stunning effect.Joules-stripe-duvetIndigo goes really well with red and bright pink. That blue Moss stitch throw and cushion are the perfect match for the new Joules bedding collection.U_HOM1_PNKGRYCUSHION1_010How about accessorising your bed with these beauties? Isn’t that Royal Hare cushion with the bright pink piping and that Marylebone throw just so tempting? They would fit in well with any of the duvet sets above too.

Hope you’ve enjoyed browsing through some of my picks of the Joules new Spring/Summer 2016 bedding collection.

If you want to purchase any of the bedding, I have a special discount code for you. Just use BELL20 when you check out and this will entitle you to 20% off. This is only till end of April 12th 2016.

Happy shopping and I will be back with more fun and colourful interiors posts.

I do like Joules for clothes but often forget they do homeware too so thanks for the reminder. I’m really liking the blue shells edged in pink and am looking for some new bedlinen so am now considering that one but will wait until I see your complete refresh before I buy.

  2. Sooooo nice!!! I love the indigo peony bedding. But first, I’m off to find the pink blanket in the bottom photo. All the heart eyes for that!

  3. Lovely post Geraldine, I never think to look at Joules for bedding but I will from now on. I think my favourite is the shell design. Lovely styling x

  4. The peonies are my favourites Geraldine. Such a beautiful blue. Time to start doing my bedroom refresh I think 🙂

  5. I love the one you’ve picked!! Defo my favourite!

  6. I love these looks. That rabbit cushion is so cool. It’s nautical but in a very chic way. Going to look at investing in the blue floral set for my guest room.
