How to transform your living space with affordable art prints.
I realise that my signature colours are usually very Spring and Summer. However, now that the outdoor temperature have started to plummet, there is no denying that Winter is fast approaching.
Velvet sofas are perfect for the cold season, because they look and feel cosy. 
I thought I’d share with you my 5 quick steps on how to transform your living space into an inviting Winter ready space on a budget.
First of all, Step 1: Style it dark.
You could paint the wall a dark shade of grey, deep blue or even black, against which the olive green of the sofa will pop.
However, I haven’t the time to paint my wall, which leads me to – Step 2 : Add a collection of affordable art prints in seasonal shades.
I have bought a collection of abstract and geometric prints in my favourite Winter gem tones of Emerald green, Black Onyx, Coral pink, deep sapphire blue with a touch of old style glamour in the gold frames.

Step 3: Add a woolly rug that feels warm and comforting to the touch.
Step 4 : Select a scatter of cushions and a Winter throw. I’ve picked a palette of black and gold. Step 5: Add a bit of your own personality.
You may have already noticed that there is a brightly coloured floral cushion in the centre and multi coloured striped throw amongst the black and white monochrome. 
That’s because I couldn’t let the Summer in me go.

Rather than spend money and time on repainting the wall, try the affordable art prints.
They have really allowed me to go Winter dark without breaking the bank or into a sweat.
All the other decorative accessories used ( cushions, rug and blankets) were what I already owned at home.
Finally, add some cosy life into the space with a scented candle, books and snuggle up with some hot cocoa.
