Alt Summit Winter 2015 – my Kate Spade outfits.

Kate-Spade-Somerset-cardigan-2-on-Little-Big-Bell2 weeks ago, I attended the blogging conference, Alt Summit, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fashion it seems is a major part of Alt Summit.

I was lucky to have received the styling expertise of Kate Spade London’s stylist, Meghan Moore. Together, we were able to come up with 2 outfits.

The first outfit above, consisted of the Somerset cardigan in Rose Jade, and the Deco Polka dot Coreen cupcake mini skirt.

The cardigan and skirt are not available on Kate Spade UK’s website, but you may be able to purchase them from the London Sloane Square shop. Alternatively, you can purchase it online from Avenue K , who ship internationally.

The Day Tripper black necklace is available from Kate Spade London.

Geraldine-Tan-in-Kate-spade-Little-Big-BellSo here I am wearing the outfits. I learned a few styling secrets from Meghan. She suggested that the cardigan should be worn buttoned up as a top, and it should also be worn back to front.

The buttons at the back added a lovely visual feature and the plain front worked well with the necklace.

Tucking the top into the skirt was also a trick to draw one’s eyes away from the hips.

I love the gold metal detailing of the inner heel and the Kate Spade signature bows at the back.

Kate-Spade-Bekki-sweater-1-Little-Big-BellMy second outfit was not too dissimilar. We kept the style similar to what I felt comfortable with. This was the outfit I wore to the evening mini parties at Alt Summit.

We chose the Bekki sweater in a bright pink. I love wearing colours but I was not used to wearing such a bright hue. Surprisingly, it worked well when contrasted against the black Satin gathered skirt . I accessorised it with the same Day Tripper necklace and a fun pair of black and gold flats with the words Pop and Fizz.

Kate-Spade-wellies-Little-Big-BellI arrived a day before the conference started, so went to explore Park City, a town busy preparing for the annual Sundance film festival. Park City is also a ski resort, so snow was to be expected.

I was pleased to have brought along my Kate Spade wellington boots (top left). Again, I loved the gold detailing and bow at the back.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the post. This is my first venture into a bit of fashion blogging. I would love to hear what you think.

Wishing you a wonderful day ahead and I will be back with some fun interiors post.

The phography of me in outfits are by Izzy Hudgins, a talented photographer who I met at Alt. The others are by me.
