Autumn Fair 2016. My curated finds.

Hubsch-at-Autumn-fair-photo-by-Little-Big-BellA fortnight ago, I wrote about the Autumn Fair, one of UK’s largest Home, gifts and lifestyle trade show.

Last Monday afternoon, I did a little Instagram takeover for them. I had so much fun exploring the stalls and even got to attend the keynote speech by Jo Malone.

I thought I’d show you some of the brands that caught my eye.

The ceramics and glassware above are by the Scandinavian brand Hübsch.Scandinavian-decor-Hubsch-Little-Big-BellHübsch did the clean lines and simplicity look well.

Their wooden furniture look great against those wicker baskets and green plants .

That elegant black and gold lamp in the far is on my wish list.Cactus-in-planter-photo-by-Little-Big-BellLove the glaze effect of this pot,note-books-by-Haubsch-photo-by-Little-Big-Belland the contrasting palette of black with a blush nude in these notebooks.Lund-London-at-Autumn-fair-2016-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI was so pleased to discover these colourful, pleated ceramic hanging cups by Lund London.

I’ve seen so many white hanging pots on the market, so it was about time we added more pops of colour to our decor.

Great storage idea for pencils, make up brushes or even little succulent plants don’t you think?house-of-disaster-photo-by-little-big-bellAnother new brand exhibiting at Autumn Fair was House of Disaster. There was a distinct dinosaur theme on display.

It’s a quirky cool brand, a colourful lifestyle store whose products stood out on display.
House-of-Disaster-lights-photo-by-Little-Big-BellThese rhino and hippo lights were also from House of Disaster.Vita-Copenhagen-lights-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-BellI was stopped in my tracks by this stunning light from Vita Copenhagen.

It’s amazing how the colours reflect and change at different angles. Did you know it’s made of gold, silver and copper?

This is definitely a statement piece.Vita-Copenhagen-lighting-photo-by-Little-Big-BellWhenever I think about Scandinavian design, monochrome and wood pops into my head.

I was so pleased that Vita Copenhagen has introduced colour into their new collections. Check out this pastel coloured standing lamp.neuhaus-lighting-group-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI don’t often blog about lighting, but the Autumn Fair’s showing of lights have won me over.

Want your own rainbow in the living room? Then how about these hanging lights from Neuhaus Lighting group?Padhome-lights-photo-by-Little-Big-BellHere’s an idea on how to WOW your outdoor party.

They would look great in a loft or industrial style space too. The alphabet lights were spotted at Pad Home.cow-hide-from-city-cows-autumn-fair-photo-by-geraldine-tanI have been on the lookout for a rug to go in my front room. I’m undecided between Moroccan colour or girly glamour.

This gold speckled cow hide rug would do that glamour boudoir look well. I was tempted.chill-factor-from-jwpltd-photo-by-little-big-bellThis pink Ice Twist cup from Chill Factor creates an icy slushy drink in seconds. All you have to do is remove the inner compartment to freeze in the freezer. Then when you are ready to make your drink, place the frozen inner compartment in, pour your drink and twist the body of the container. So cool right?

The pink lunch box is from good2go. It’s divided into portion perfect compartments with an inbuilt area for the folded cutlery and sauce. Its ability to collapse in height makes it a great space saving idea for the cupboard.

Anyway, hope you’ve enjoyed my finds at the fair. I will be writing about the Jo Malone talk soon.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

  1. Your pics are stunning!
We have one of those Vita pendant lights but in copper and it always get compliments from my guests – the shape of it means the light disperses in different directions too which I love!

And thanks for introducing me to House of Disaster! I’m SO into the dino decor haha Off to buy everything!

So cool that you have a Vita pendant light. I love this gold, silver, copper one I featured, but I think it is way over budget for me. x

  2. I used to attend the Spring and Autumn fairs when I had my shop. I absolutely loved wandering around the event halls. Mind you you need extremely comfortable shoes, its VAST isn’t it !

Beautiful photography as usual Geraldine. I’m in Love with the black and blush notebooks x

Thanks Karen. Yes, I made sure I wore my flat ballet pumps for all that walking. I must admit the next day I woke up feeling as if I’ve been to the gym the day before. 🙂 x

  3. Looks like you had an inspirational visit! The pink cup gadget looks great for cocktails!

  4. The Ice Twist cup is a very clever idea. I’m intrigued by House of Disaster, not a company I’ve come across before. Well done for your Instagram takeover!

  5. Julie Davies

I love the ceramic hanging cups … just need to work out what I could hang them from!

    • littlebigbell

Hi Julie, you could hang them along a shelf or by a window frame. If you hang them from a ceiling, there are special ceiling hooks you can get from Command 3 M. They’re so pretty aren’t they? x

  6. I love all the plant pots (I’m very into plants at the moment). Next year, I’ve got to make it to the show!

  7. Some really lovely finds, I love the ceramics from Hubsch, really nice! x

    • littlebigbell

Hubsch was one of the highlights at the show. I can see why you like it, very in line with your aesthetic Cate. x

  8. Some great finds here Geraldine. Once the kids are a bit bigger I’m hoping to attend these shows as they are great for inspiration. Love your photos and I really need some hanging plant pots for my livingroom as I’m running out of shelf space already. Thanks for the tip about the 3m command hooks, I’d never have thought of using them on the ceiling.

Thank you Stacey. I’m so pleased the hooks tip is going to come in handy. Maybe I’ll see you at one of the shows in the near future. x
