My sheepskin Baa stool and the pink and red trend.

My sheepskin Baa stool and the pink and red trend.

This weekend, I had so much fun styling my room in pink. Here is the result.

Do you spot my pink sheepskin footstool? Her name is Judy, and she was the inspiration of my styling.baa stoolJudy is from Baa stool, an amazing online store, based in Wales, that sells a range of luxury British sheepskin furniture and accessories.

Isn’t she cute in baby pink with gold hairpin legs?

The cover is removable, so you can change the look of your stool with replacement sheepskin covers.Sheepskin stools are definitely a huge trend this season, especially on Instagram.

Not only does the stool look aesthetically gorgeous, it is super soft to the touch too.Every time my husband walked into the room this weekend, he saw me stroking my baa stool.

I couldn’t help it, as it was so soft. I can guarantee that you will be doing the same thing if you got one too.

You can also keep your baa stool looking tip top with a special metal brush that’s included. There are 26 styles of sheepskin footstools to suit all taste. Each style is available in 17 colours, from Ivory, Chocolate, Baby Pink, Cornflower blue and more. What colour would you pick? The stools also come in a variety of heights, and you can select according to whether you are a ‘feet up’ or ‘feet down’ person.

After a hard and long day of running around in the hospital as a doctor, I naturally want to put my feet up when I get home. I was so pleased that my Judy Baa stool was a ‘feet up’ stool.Anyway, back to the styling. As I mentioned previously my Judy Baa stool inspired my decor. I decided to go for a decor in shades of pink.

I’ve also got a crush on pink and red at the moment. This is another big trend for 2018.

Many people think red and pink clash, but as far as I’m concern, there are no such things as clashing colours. The secret is in getting the dose of those clashing colours right. As you can see, I have a new red and pink gallery wall for my styling.

I was very fortunate to have being able to collaborate with a group of talented printmakers. The last three prints on the bottom row were specially made for me to colour specifications.

If you are interested in the prints, then here are the makers :

  1. Yass Queen by The Gin Fox.
  2. Dusk (pink abstract) by Jessica Ford art
  3. Two hearts by Gayle Mansfield
  4. Rainbow art print that reads ‘ You are every nice word’ by Stacie Swift.
  5. Pink female print by Lena Goodison.
  6. Pink and red LHR baggage tag print by Offizina.
  7. ‘The bags under my  eyes are Chanel’ print by The Happy Cotswold Co.
  8. Blah by Little Dog Studio shop.

My daughter is already eyeing my stool for her room.

It was so cosy to put my feet up this weekend, since it was snowing outdoors. Here’s wishing for Spring soon.

I forgot to mention that sheepskin regulates temperature well. It keeps your feet warm in Winter and cool in Summer.Hope you’ve enjoyed the post and styling.

Wll you embrace the sheepskin stool and the pink red trend? I’m loving it. Do take a look here at Baa stools.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to your weeks.

( All styling and photography are by me, Geraldine Tan, editor of Little Big Bell. I have collaborated with Baa stool on a sponsored basis, but all opinions are my own.)
