I recently had the pleasure of creating some photography for the super cool cosmetics brand bagsy.
Even better, I got to try out the products after I had finished the photoshoot.
I was instantly drawn to their on trend colourful packaging. Who wouldn’t right?Just look at what I found inside those pretty boxes.
Gorgeous products in sleek and elegant shapes. Like candy pouring out of my green Aspinal of London handbag.
So much choice, I just couldn’t decide which one to try first.
I finally decided on the Ray of Sunshine bronzing powder.
The engraved words “Sunshine is my favourite accessory” is a cute touch don’t you think?
The bronzer gave my cheekbones, nose and forehead a subtle and natural sun kissed glow.
Its smooth matte consistency created a thin translucent layer that reflected light to create a healthy radiant look.I used this super soft Kabuki brush to apply the bronzer.
The powder application glided on easily and created a seamless look. The small cylindrical handle fitted snugly in my palm for precision blending.
The Kabuki brush also came in a cute turquoise pouch for storage. Here are my bagsy make up ready to go into the handbag.Next, I tried the lip velvet soft matte lip colours. The texture and feel on application was as its name suggested, smooth like velvet.
The one above is called Spinning Plates, a rosy pink tint. Here are my lip velvet colours, lined up with more Bagsy products, all ready to slot into my blue envelope bag.
Don’t you love the monochrome black and white design of the other products too?Check out these Wow lips chubby stick colours. The colours are gorgeous and bright with a creamy texture that hugged the lips well. These colours are called Happy days and Killer heels.
Want Wow lips? You should try it to see what I mean. Look at the cool packaging they came in.Complementing the WOW lip colours, are these Pretty Cheeks creamy blushes.
Using circular motions, gently apply to the apples of cheeks and blend using fingers along the cheekbones.
They’re the perfect compact size for on the go touch ups throughout the day.Pretty pops of colours.Next are these lip cocoons which were my absolute favourite. The lemon lustre stick smelt delicious. It glided on smoothly and tasted of fresh lemon zest.
My lips felt instantly moisturised and softened from its blend of sunflower oil, shea butter, castor oil and beeswax. Here’s the lip cocoon in raspberry with a pretty rosy tint.
Its sweet scent reminded me of childhood lollipops.
Jewel colours like candy scattered on my table.
Have you ever tried dry shampoo?
bagsy’s Hair Wonder spray is infused with nourishing pro vitamin B5 and oat oil that adds volume and a tousled texture. Its blend of rice and tapioca absorbs excess oil from the roots.
I was pleasantly surprised by how a little spray could freshen up tired looking hair on the go. It smelt lovely too.As a medical doctor, I’m always washing my hands in between patients. Hand cream is one of the essentials that I carry in my handbag.
I got to try out bagsy’s Heavenly Hands cedarwood scented cream which was moisturising without the greasy after feel you may get with other creams.Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the images I created for bagsy.

You’re welcome Nicole. Good luck in the draw. x
I must admit to not having come across Bagsy products before, but I do like the look of their packaging! As ever, your photos are excellent. My handbag beauty essentials are simply lip balm and lipstick.
Love the images you have created, and the packaging of the products too, which all sound great. I like the look of the cheek blush pots the best. I’d like to enter the giveaway too – but I tend not to carry many beauty products in my handbag, just a rose petal salve, so that is my essential x
Thanks Molly. Good luck in the draw. x
Absolutely fantastic photography as always. You’re a fabulous stylist. I’ve never heard of this makeup brand before but it looks quite lovely. I must say I don’t really use that much makeup since having the girls as I don’t have as much time for myself as I’d like. But winning this fabulous prize would definitely give me more of an incentive to pamper myself. Normally my essentials are just a foundation and a bit of blusher, maybe mascara on a good day.
Thank you stacey and good luck xx
Such lovely images G. I’m in awe 🙂

I agree, an SPF application is an absolute essential. Good luck in the draw. x
I use Max Factor Foundation in Natural and Rimmed London 2 in 1 highlighter/corrector for under eye circles and their blush in pink rose! Love a bit of blusher! Gorgeously colourful photos!! My handbag essential is hand cream, too. I have two little boys so always seem to be washing both my hands and theirs. Hand cream is a must!
