Benefit Real Colours & Prismologie – Colourful beauty.

Benefit-cosmetics-styled-by-Little-Big-BellI adore living a life full of happy colours, however, this is not just confined to interiors and decor. I also love colour in fashion, beauty and travel.

So, today’s post is about the colourful beauty products from Benefit cosmetics and Prismologie that I have tried and would recommend.Benefit-Real-push-up-liner-styling-and-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-BellMy beauty routine is quite simple and daily I apply a fine liquid eye-liner in black.

So imagine how excited I was when I found out that Benefit was launching colours in their They’re Real push-up liners.

I have applied the liners to my paper models above so that you can have a better view of the shades.

Benefit-cosmetics-UK-they're-real-push-up-liner-in-colours-photo-and-styling-by-Little-Big-BellNo longer just black, but in green, blue, brown and purple. Can I say Yay? Yay!!

The good news is that they can now be bought online here and will hit the shops nationwide in the U.K in July.

It’s not only the colour element that I like (my favourite is blue), but the applicator is something special.

Being a lifelong eye-liner wearer and a doctor, I can safely say that I have steady hands when it comes to application, but many of my friends always ask me how to get that perfect line. It’s not always easy with a brush or even the pen devices.

Benefit has developed a special Accuflex tip that allows for a line to be drawn easily. Tried and tested by yours truly, and I love it.

Benefits-cosmetics-they're-real-mascara-in-blue-Little-Big-BellAfter the eyeliner, apply some They’re Real mascara and the eyes really look larger and those lashes visibly longer.

No colour neglect here because Benefit has also added brown and blue to their mascara collection.

Benefit-Posie-tint-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI already use Benefit cosmetics in my make up routine. My favourites are High Beam, a liquid highlighter that gives the cheeks and brow bone a radiant glow and Benetint for that rose tint to the lips and cheek.

Last week was National Pink day in the U.S.A and as part of that celebration, I was lucky to receive a little gift from Benefit UK. It was that sweet bottle of Posie Tint.

Such a cute Poppy pink for the lips ( I’ve applied it to my paper models above) and cheeks.

Happiness-planner-photo-by-Little-Big-BellLove this Happiness planner ( Pink and gold, my favourite colours) and the Rose scented bath petals from Boux avenue. They both came in my Benepink parcel.

Just to mention, the Happiness planner is like a little life coach for happiness in a book, where you can record the goals you want to achieve.

Prismologie-styled-andphoto-by-Little-Big-BellMoving on to my next colourful find.

I have placed my ‘love’ brass lettering that I bought from West Elm, as my seal of approval, for this next new brand to the market.Prismologie-colourful-boxes-photo-by-Little-Big-BellIntroducing you to Prismologie.

I couldn’t resist shooting this image. The packaging and branding are simply stunning.

Prismologie is a colourful and definitely indulgent body care range. I am liking their social media hashtag ‘Live Life Colourfully’, which really resonates with me.

They have produced the range using the powers of colour known to influence our wellbeing in both a physiological and emotional way.

Each of the products have their own colour range and comprise of a bespoke blend of gemstone crystals and aromatic ingredients.

Prismologie-yellow-day-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI have tried Prismologie’s Yellow Day body lotion with Citrine extract, and the scent is amazing.

That crisp Bergamot and zesty Citrus definitely wakes the senses.

I think this is the perfect sunshine lift for me early in the morning, before work. It’s great as a daily hydrating moisturiser too.

Prismologie-green-epoch-photo-by-Little-Big-BellNext is Green Epoch, Prismologie’s bath oil with Vetiver and Jade micro crystals. The crystals gently exfoliates and the Tamanu oil is soothing and mild.

I have tried this and the oils really do soften and moisturise well. Love the gentle lingering of the Vetiver scent after the bath on both the skin and room.Pink-o'clock-Prismologie-photo-by-Little-Big-BellLastly, Prismologie’s Pink O’clock hand and cuticle cream made of Rose Quartz micro-crystals and with a Rose fragrance.

The Shea Butter within really softens and moisturises the skin. I now carry this in my bag and use daily. Being a doctor, I am constantly washing my hands between patients and so this is perfect for me. That Rose scent really lifts the mood and eases tension.

Hope you have enjoyed the colourful product reviews. Have a wonderful start to your week.

Thank you Suze. I have never been to a Vashi diamonds event. Maybe it was at Linley we met? Hope you like the liners and Prismologie as much as I do.Been wearing the blue eyeliner all week. Have a great weekend.

  3. Love the styling and product shots. I’m a big fan of so many benefit products – they are one of the beauty brands that I think deliver on what they promise. I love their eyeliner already and excited to find out about new colours. Really tempted by green or purple. Shall hit the shops next week for a try.
