Christmas Survival Kit from The White Company

Winter-room-spray-The-White-company-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI can’t believe Christmas is just a month away. I’ve been so busy that I was beginning to resign to the fact that, this year, there will be no Winter cosy at home.

That all changed when The White Company sent me my first Christmas gift of the season, my very own Christmas Survival kit. I’m ever so grateful for the helping hand and gentle nudge towards a festive feel at home.

The White company’s signature Winter home fragrance, comprising of Cinnamon, Clove and Orange is my ultimate Christmas scent. In fact, I tend to burn the Winter candles from November through till February.

Those Winter candles are so popular that you will often find them sold out. A mental note to self that I need to stock up. Luckily, the home spray is currently bridging the gap.the-white-company-Flowers-bath-foam-photo-by-Little-Big-BellDuring this time of the year, I often find that there are not enough hours in the day to do things. Do you find that too?

For me, there are the Winter pressures in the Accident and Emergency department where I work as a doctor, and then there are the parental duties of attending all those school Christmas fairs and concerts. The thought of Christmas shopping has not even yet registered.

The White Company has come to my rescue again with a charming decanter filled with Flowers bath foam, the perfect bath time treat to melt the stresses away.

Christmas-gift-ideas-for-her-The-White-Company-photo-and-styling-by-Little-Big-BellDuring the festive season, we sometimes have people staying over. Getting the guest room ready and fit for purpose is another to do task.

This simple white frame is not only great for any last minute gifting but also perfect for decorating that extra room. Add a bedside Sloe Gin votive and I’m sure the guests will feel right at home.

Talking about Sloe Gin, there was also a miniature bottle of Sipsmith included in the gift, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.Do-what-you-love-photo-by-Little-Big-BellWhat a marvellous idea to have some motivational pep talk engraved on pencils. ‘Do what you love’, that’s precisely what I’m doing now as I write my blog.Christmas-gifts-for-her-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan-littlebigbell.comHere’s more.The-White-Company-Christmas-presents-photo-by-Little-Big-BellMight as well show you all of them. A simple but powerful idea.

Lying below the row of pencils is a heart notebook, also part of the gift. A great reminder for jotting down my Christmas to dos.

Inside the gift box there were also a pair of blue Cashmere socks and a tin of hot cocoa.

I’ll let you in on a secret, the White company’s cashmere socks are the best. Last year I got a grey pair and they always accompany me now on my travels abroad. They are that bit luxury for me on the flight.

Calligraphy-with-the-White-Company-Little-Big-BellI have also improved on my calligraphy skills, after a recent lesson with the talented Megan Riera organised by the White Company.

That reminds me, the first Christmas hurdle is the card writing.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the post and that it has given you some ideas on how to survive the festive period.

Have a great week all. There will be lots of exciting announcements coming up soon, so watch this blog space.

  3. I love the idea of a Christmas survival kit! Yes, I totally find that time seems to be in short supply at this time of year. I’m trying to be much more organised this year though, and try and get things done in good time so I don’t have so much of a rush nearer Christmas (fingers crossed…).

Thank you Freya. Despite having the grey and blue Cashmere socks, I’ve also put the pink ones on my Christmas wish list too. Have a great Christmas.
