Donna Wilson, famed for her knitted creatures and home accessories, is celebrating her company’s 10th anniversary with an amazing exhibition of past and new collections. It is also part of the London Design Festival 2013.
The theme is ‘The Three Little Bears’ . Here we have ‘Who is sitting in my chair?’ Papa ‘Big Ted’ bear.
Mama bear.
and sweet little Baby ‘Bibi’ bear.
On this beautiful sideboard designed by Donna, sits her new season bowl collection.
They are in keeping with the Three Bears theme. I have bought the Bear beaker to add to my collection.
On the far wall are all the wonderful knitted creatures from Donna’s previous and current collection. This exhibit is part of a sealed bid auction for charity.
Here is a close up view of some of the creatures. I’m liking the fox. Can you spot one you like from the wall above?
The Tortoise cushion is from her new collection, as is the pie chart patchwork on the floor.
Love the vibrant colours of these Hofdi and Playtime cushions.
Spot the cosy lambswool rabbit scarf, in line with the woodland theme of the new season.
Finally, I leave you with the only non-coloured piece in the shop. A monochrome ‘Forest Floor’ throw. A perfect Christmas gift I say!
Hope you have enjoyed this quick tour of talented Donna Wilson’s exhibition. I am a true fan and have several pieces of her work at home. The exhibition runs till Sunday 22nd 2013 in Leonard street, London. I highly recommend it.
Have a wonderful weekend x
