Deck the halls with dried flowers and foliage garlands for Christmas.

dried flowers and foliage garlands christmasDeck the halls with boughs of Holly? Definitely no sight of Holly here, but dried flowers and foliage garlands with frosted baubles.

I’ve noticed Christmas 2019 seem to be about dried flowers and foliage garlands. Not only are they beautiful, but a sensible choice too, as they’ll last the test of time through the high traffic areas of the hallway, or at least until Christmas anyway.

As I have recently decorated my hallway with Graham and Brown’s Bloomsbury wallpaper, I wanted to show it off further with some festive decor.dried flowers and foliage garlands hallwaySo, I enlisted the help of Hayford and Rhodes to help me create the garland that would go with my hallway wallpaper.

I think the natural instinct would be to create a green foliage garland, but Christmas is about fun and colour.I wanted the garland to pick up the blues and pinks of the wallpaper but with the added sparkle of gold and glitter.

It had to be something that would blend with my wallpaper, but also be a design feature of its own.

After a few adjustments, these were the dried flowers and foliage garlands that Hayford and Rhodes came up with for me. I absolutely love them all. They totally match my door wreath too don’t you think? Here’s another view.dried flowers and foliage garlands decor christmas hallwayI love how the dried flowers and foliage in the garlands look like they are popping out from the wallpaper, almost like a 3-D effect, don’t you think?

I’m so happy with how it has turned out. Definitely a pop of Christmas cheer as you walk through the front door.So deck the hallways in boughs of Holly it isn’t this Christmas. Will you be decking your hallway in decor too?Have a lovely day all.
