Since the UK weather today and tomorrow is predicted to be a scorching 30°C ( highly unusual for mid September), I thought it was the perfect time to show you Häagen-Dazs‘ newly launched ice cream stick bars.
Häagen-Dazs has just released 3 new flavours and I was so excited when they asked me to style and photograph them for the blog. Even better, I got to taste the new flavours as I shot them.
This is the White chocolate and almond stick bar. It is a mixture of creamy vanilla ice cream, crunchy caramelised almonds and a coating of real white Belgian chocolate. I love white chocolate and this was so velvety and smooth.
The mix of white chocolate with the fragrance of vanilla in the ice cream and the subtle crunch of almonds made each bite heavenly.
To go with the heavenly theme, I decided to style this flavour in a bright and light background filled with freshly picked colourful edible flowers.
Does this sound good? There is more to come.
This is another one to tempt. Introducing you to the Vanilla Caramel Almond stick bar. Here you get a thick coating of delicious Belgian milk chocolate coated with chunks of crunchy almonds.
As you bite, there is that satisfying crack to the chocoale, then you reach that classic cold vanilla and then a pleasant surprise of thick caramel sauce. If you want a stick bar that has no chunks and something other than vanilla, then this is for you.
Introducing you to Häagen-Dazs’ Salted Caramel. It’s made of a rich Belgian chocolate coating over Häagen-Dazs’ signature Salted Caramel ice cream. I just love the sweet of Caramel with that sea salt kick to the taste buds.
So which one will you pick? These stick bars are available in the U.K at your local Tesco Express and Co-op stores now. With the predicted heat wave today, I know I will be cooling down with one of the above.
Hope you have enjoyed the photography I did for Häagen-Dazs. I know I’ve enjoyed eating them ( perks of the business right?)
Enjoy the sun and have a great day.
