I’ve been wanting to add a more grown up character to my bedroom with wall wood panels and wallpaper for quite some time.
I wanted to be more ‘grown up’ without losing the playful, fun aesthetic that I so love.
Here’s my bedroom last Summer, all bright and light.
I don’t see this as child like, but it’s funny how many people have associated this space as a child’s bedroom.
I’ve decided a change was in order.
Ta-dah! What do you think? More grown up right, but without losing my fun and happy vibe I hope?
I have based the styling of this bedroom on the Confettis By Nymphea’s Factory wallpaper from 4MURS. This wallpaper is only exclusive to 4MURS
Pink and gold polka dots on a white background is just so fresh, fun and me. Any excuse to add more pink to my home.
Here’s the bedroom in its entirety on one side. I’ve styled the bed with colours to compliment the wallpaper.
I’m so pleased with the wall wood panels too. 
My general aesthetic has always been a combination of period and contemporary.
As I live in a Victorian house, I wanted a way of introducing some period character into my bedroom, but maintaining a modern style at the same time.
Wall wood panels have been a huge trend this past year, and I have been toying for the idea for quite a while.
One advice is, if you are going to go for painted wall wood panels, then you could definitely safe costs by using MDF rather than real wood.

This 4MURS confettis design is just wonderful. It perfectly matches the pink I chose for my bedroom wood wall panels, and my standing Anglepoise lamp.
The next thing I’ll need to change is the switches, perhaps to a gold brass colour.
