I recently wrote about how I would Make it a YAY day with Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE . Well, I’m back again with another #MakeItAYayDay post.
This time it’s about my friend Khai Lee’s birthday tea party which made it a YAY day for me.
As you can see from the image above, there were many things to feel YAY about.
Let’s take a closer look at how to create a colourful tea party.Feast your eyes on this peach melba cheese cake.
Isn’t it a work of art?
Love the painterly effects around the cake, those luscious pieces of peaches and of course it tasted heavenly too.Why just settle for one cake? Let’s #MakeItAYay day with two. So tempting right?
Let’s not stop there, add flowers everywhere to make it a colourful tea party, and the room will become instantly charged with extra YAY.How about these open face sandwiches? Just lightly toast them in the oven, cut into equal rectangular fingers, spread on some cream cheese and decorate. Use tomatoes, radishes, figs, quail eggs and more. Make them super colourful and embellish with herbs and edible flowers.
Are you feeling YAY yet? And probably hungry too?Check out this scene with the cake, flowers and colourful sandwiches all together.
Now direct your eyes to the water. Doesn’t it look YAY with the sprigs of mint and slices of citrus fruit?Last but not least, go out and buy the largest and sweetest of strawberries ever. Coat them in the finest of melted chocolate, sprinkle with Lavender and refrigerate overnight. Each bite of these was an instant YAY to my day.
Hope this how to create a colourful tea party post has brightened your day. Do keep an eye out for another super colourful tea party for a great cause on Monday. Have a wonderful week all.
