Is Quiet Luxury coming up in interiors? My favourite finds at Maison et Objet 2025 and Paris Deco Off

Paris deco Off
Maison et Objet 2025 and Paris Deco Off was truly inspiring this year.

I’ve decided to show you what I found and loved.

My selections seem to revolve around 3 themes

1.Nature – organic natural materials such as stone, wood and clay.

2.Preloved luxury– one of a kind curated vintage treasures.

3.Saviour Faire– The revival in art, craft and skill know how.

Whilst many have been predicting bright colours for interiors, I’m now leaning more towards muted hues and QUIET LUXURY.

“Quiet Luxury” has been a trend in the fashion world for the last 2 years, likely due to various factors.

Firstly a backlash against the tide of “trying to impress “ logo flashing against economic slowdown.

Secondly, a reaction against unattainable price rises of luxury goods against falling quality and customer service.

Last but not least, the new generation ( Gen Z- the new consumers) have been turning their backs on fast fashion.

The interiors market often mirrors the fashion market and vice versa.

Although we are currently seeing a huge revival of colours, I feel that the quieter luxury aesthetic is soon to come.

There was a huge display of colours at Maison et Objet this year.
