Lush Winter 2015 -Lush Winter Wonderland bath bombs.

Lush-bath-bombs-Winter-Wonderland-2015-photo-by-Little-Big-BellLush Winter 2015, the Lush Winter Wonderland bath bombs.

I have been wanting to blog about them since I got the box from the Lush UK shop in Oxford street, London.

I can’t believe I am writing about Christmas gifts so early.

My whole family, me included, love Lush.

What’s not to love when a product could bring such smiles and cries of delight? Cries of delight from my children of course!

Such fun and anticipation before the bombs hit the water. What are the colours? Is there an after surprise?

Can you believe a bath bomb can command an audience in our family? Maybe it happens in yours too?

Then there is always that amazing after scent that pervades the bathroom and fills the house.

Hidden inside the Lush Winter Wonderland green and white box, are 20 colourful pieces, full of sparkle for festive baths.

The box would be the perfect hat box for Dr. Seuss’ ‘Cat in the hat’ don’t you think?

The Winter scene has been designed by Arthouse Meath, an enterprise that showcases the talents and skills of adults living with severe epilepsy, learning and physical difficulties.

So, want to see what’s inside? I’ve styled the bombs below in …..Lush-bath-bombs-Winter-Wonderland-collection-2015-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell…a giant candy jar.

Those bath bombs look like bonbons don’t they? As much as you may be tempted, I have to do some responsible blogging and tell you not to eat them.

That swirly purple roll, next to the jar is a Christmas bubble bar called Bar Humbug. It’s a mix of tarragon, fennel and softening illipe butter with a licorice scent.

Now, direct your eyes to the far right. You will see an unassuming gold coloured bath bomb in the shape of a gift. It’s quite simply called Golden Wonder. You should try one. You will be immersing yourself in liquid gold that unwraps to reveal a turquoise explosion, followed by the scent of a citrus blend of orange, lime and wait for it, cognac oils!
Colourful-bath-bombs-photo-by-Little-Big-BellAdd a golden spoon to the mix and those bath bombs now look like scoops of ice cream.

The blue one at the top is called Shoot for the stars. When launched into the water, it darts around and spins, leaving a trail of shimmering midnight blue, followed by orange and Bergamot scents.Lush-bath-bombs-Christmas-collection-2015-photo-by-Little-Big-BellTempting right? The orange one at the bottom is called a Yog Nog. It’s that truly festive bath bomb you want, as the days get shorter and darker. One that comforts, yet invigorate, with the thoughts of a happy Christmas.

It is full of spicy clove, soothing soya yoghurt and sensual ylang ylang. Perfect for sugar coating your skin in the sweetest of perfume.Lush-bath-bombs-London-photo-by-Little-Big-BellI am in bath bomb heaven as I type because my study smells of Lush. It’s that fresh supply I still have in the bag nearby.

What’s wonderful about these products are that they are ethically sourced and not tested on animals. Lush gives back to the communities who help make them.Luxury-Lush-pud-from-Lush-Winter-Wonderland-2015-photo-and-styling-by-Little-Big-BellThis must be the Christmas piece de resistance, a Luxury Lush Pud. So pretty to look at right?

It gives out a sleepy foam of Lavender as it touches the water.

You no longer need to perfect the art of relaxing. Just sit in a bath with this whizzing bomb, and the tension will melt away.Lush-bath-bomb-2015-Christmas-photo-by-Little-Big-BellNow this bath bomb has a funny story.

When I first set my eyes on it, I thought, wow! How on trend with those subtle painterly strokes of pastel shades.

Then I tried to look up its name and it dawned on me that it was the ‘So White’ bath bomb. Dubbed the fairest of them all by Lush.

So, the painterly strokes are accidental stains by the other colourful bath bombs.

It’s a crispy apple with bergamot, rose, neroli and orange flower. Yum!Lush-bath-bombs-Winter-Wonderland-2015-photo-by-Little-Big-BellThese are the festive ones. The golden star on a stick is a re-usable bubble bar called The Magic of Christmas. It’s clove, almonds and cinnamon leaf. Swish it under running water and bubbles will appear.

The Snow angel above will blanket your bath in white foam before revealing a shimmering gold glow. Colourful-Lush-bath-bombs-photo-by-Little-Big-BellDo you spot Father Christmas?

If you drop Santa in the bath, you will see his cheeks glow with the warmth of red. As it fizzes, a holly green will be revealed.

So many delightful bombs to try. Lush-knot-wrap-photo-by-Little-Big-BellThey will make such wondeful gifts. Here’s a knot wrap created for me.

Love the idea of reusable wrapping. This type of wrapping is inspired by the Japanese art of Furoshiki.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the post.

Have a wonderful weekend. I’m off to soak in a Lush bath now.
