Living Room

Minted – oversized statement art prints for your home.

Little_Big_Bell's_home_1_photo_by_Geraldine_TanI love to curate and create gallery walls, especially in my two workspaces.

However, I didn’t want all my rooms to have a similar grouping of small artwork.

I have often looked at some of my prints and wished they came in larger versions.

Statement oversized art pieces are now very much on trend and I was excited to learn that Minted could recreate their prints in larger sizes.

I was even more excited when they asked me to pick my favourite print from their collection, so that they could recreate a 40×54 inch framed version for me.

You can see it above my sofa.

Going through all the prints from Minted’s art marketplace was tough. Tough because I wanted everything! Such an amazing collection of global talents.

How did I pick?

I decided to focus on the sofa colour. Mint for Minted! ( forgive me, I’m not very witty, it’s the end of the week as I write).Billy-buttons-bouquet-by-Little-Big-BellThen I realised I should pick something that embodied the Little Big Bell colour palette.

That palette can be seen in the bouquet of flowers which I have arranged above.

Colorful-flower-decoration-by-Little-Big-BellHere’s another arrangement that I made.Minted_larger_size_prints_in_Little_Big_Bell's_homeCan you see the same shades in the print?Minted_large_print_by_Kristy_Kapturowski_styling_and_photo_by_Little_Big_BellMy oversized print is called Fragment 3 and it is by Kristy Kapturowski of Hooray Creative.

Kristy is now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and she draws inspiration for her art from music, film, fashion and her travels.Minted_large_printsYou probably saw my living room in a recent post with a nautical theme?

So, it has changed again now. The Little Big Bell household is never static when it comes to redecorating. Minted_Fragment_3_by_Hooray_Creative_photo_by_Geraldine_Tan_Little_Big_BellWhat do you think about the oversized statement print trend? Love it? I certainly do.Minted_40_x_54_inch_prints_photo_by_Little_Big_BellA scatter of cushions with my new art piece.

The two small cushions at the ends are by Kangan Arora, the second one from the left is from West elm, the central mint one with crosses is by Pencil me in stationery and the pineapple cushion is from Oliver Bonas. Which one is your favourite?Colourful_living_room_Little_Big_BellMy decor definitely doesn’t stay static. I decided to swop the coffee tables round, from the tall to this miniature one.

Actually, this was a table from my recent curated sale with Joss and Main.How-to-style-with-flowers-Little_Big_Bell_Hope you have enjoyed reading this post.

Just to mention that the print, although large, is not heavy at all. Mine came from America, fully intact.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you Minted for my beautiful print.

Love the print and how well the pink accents show off all the duck egg blues. Cue for a rethink in my living space!

  3. Love your bright colourful room, it’s the perfect mix of eclectic prints that work together brilliantly. The wall art is fab for pulling the whole colour scheme together too 🙂

I like the pillows and the flower arrangements.

  5. Thanks for the introduction to Minted Geraldine. I am so so picky about artwork, so much so that I very rarely ever put any up as I just can’t find any that I like enough. But I’ve just had a good browse on Minted and there are loads of pieces that I adore!!

    Dear littlebigbell,
My mom and I are redoing her office and when we saw your post with the art and the big mint couch we were in love. But you didn’t mention where the couch and the beautiful rug was from we looked everywhere and we couldn’t find it so do you mind telling me where it is from that would be spectacular.

Dear Ariel, My mint sofa is from Designer’s guild and unfortunately I can’t find the label for the rug, but I bought it from Twentytwentyone in Islington, London. Best wishes, Geraldine (littlebigbell)

          Dear Littlebigbell,
Sorry for asking but do you know what color the couch is because they have different colors and patterns and I can’t find one that matches it perfectly.

            Hi Ariel,
I’m not sure what it’s called as it was already made when I bought it. Tell them it’s a mint green and has an ombre effect. I bought it from Marylebone high street 2 years ago.

Hi Liz, I bought it from twenty twenty one. It’s actually 2 rugs joined together to make one long one. x
