Hello all, here is instalment number 1 of my Christmas decor at home.
This creation was inspired by the mood board from my last blog post. The theme was ‘Arctic Pine’.
The aim was for a monochrome palette whilst incorporating elements of nature.
Fragrance was also key to mood setting. Love the smoky scent of this Bibliotheque candle from Byredo.
These stars in Birch bark were a lucky, local find. Great as a visual display on the wall
These Alphabet cups are so cute. I’ve added a Teal coloured top to one as an accent colour. Addition of foliage offsets the monochrome palette and even better, it subtly scents the air with Pine.
Hope you like what I have done so far. There is more to come in my next post and even more decorating to do.
Have a lovely week. x
Hi G, absolutely love your decorating so far! Can just imagine that pine smell, it is so welcoming at this time of year. Really chilly here tonight, I just got back from London and all the cars on the Kane have frost on already! L x
Thank you so much Louisa 🙂 I think today is going to be a very cold day in London too. Keep warm lovely. xx
Looks great Geraldine. I love the understated colour palette. Looking forward to your next instalment!
Thank you so much Miranti. Can’t wait to show you more. xx
i’m desperately looking for a tree as the one you have. Simple, no foliage, moss … well, it seems this isn’t something you can easily find in Southern France… should I take the fisrt flight for London to get one? have a lovely day xxi.
Thank you Ilaria, it was a lucky find. The tree was from a Danish Christmas market in London. It was pretty affordable too. And yes, you should come to London, would be lovely to see you x
Love the way you combined the festive foliage and natural textures like bark with the monochrome accents- the dash if metallic brings so much festive spirit! So stylish. xx
Thank you Will,I’ve really enjoyed putting it together. There is more to do this weekend. Can’t wait to see your decor too. x
