This year it’s all about the fun of decorating an ABC Christmas tree with kids and decorate like a kid.
I think there’s a lot of pressure around this time of year to dress and show your perfect Christmas tree.
When John Lewis and Partners asked me if I would like to create my version of their ABC tree, my son said Yes!
I used John Lewis & Partners pre-lit snowy spruce 7 feet Christmas tree.
The run up to Christmas should be exciting and happy for the kids, and whilst they are young, giving them those wonderful Christmas memories are a gift on their own.
I absolutely loved decorating this tree with my son. To decorate like a child meant not thinking too much about the details, such as the design,colour scheme, and where each piece should go.
You can place any of the baubles anywhere ( literally decorate like a kid), and it just turns out fun, colourful and striking.
I love how John Lewis and Partners have come up with their theme trees this year.

Of course, you could customise your by mixing and matching with other theme baubles or those that you already own.So, it really didn’t take long to do our tree. 
It was a joy and even therapeutic to place the colours randomly in any place that took our fancy.
