Have you ever longed for a pink Brabantia bin, like I have ?
Now that I have one, the question is ‘should I replace my plain old stainless steel bin with it?’
I’ve decided not to. In fact, I’m keeping them both.
Why? you may ask.
Well, it’s because they are both great quality bins from Binopolis.I have moved house around five times in the past 10 to 15 years. With each of these moves, I usually replace my kitchen bin.
I have never previously considered the importance of spending a little more to have a good quality bin, until one day whilst out shopping, I took the plunge and invested in a Brabantia bin. That was now 7 years ago and that bin, which is our current bin, is still going strong.Doesn’t my new mineral pink Brabantia Flatback+ 30 litre bin from Binopolis look so cute in my kitchen corner?
Are you surprised to see that my kitchen is of such a restrained white and minimalistic style?
Well, not for much longer. Pops of pink to match my new bin are already starting to infiltrate. So, what are the features that I love about this new bin from Binopolis, apart from its sweet colour?
I love its flatback that allows it to sit comfortably against wall surfaces.
The pedal element makes everything easier too, from allowing greater hands free control, to minimising hand contamination when handling food.
The opening and closing of the lid with Brabantia’s patented Motion Control technology is as silent as a whisper.
There is also a removable internal plastic bucket with handles, which allows for easier transportation of the rubbish bags. It also allows better access for cleaning. That pink is such a pretty shade. Its unique textured matte finish is also fingerprint resistant.
I’m now tempted to get another one for my workspace. It would certainly fit right in with my pink study.Time now to indulge in those matching pink cupcakes with a cup of tea.Couldn’t resist showing you the pink cakes up close. Sorry to tempt. At the back of the bin, is this soft carry handle. It’s such a clever little feature to help, when the need arises to manoeuvre the bin around the room.Hope you’ve enjoyed having a little glimpse into my white kitchen, now with my favourite pastel pink bin. Do take a peek at Binopolis’ site for their amazing selection. I may even be tempted now to try a different branded bin from there.
I will be back soon with more colourful interiors posts. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Ooh, now that’s my kind of bin! x
Thanks Hollie. I love it too. x
Ah we have no space for a bin so have had ours built into one of the cabinets. Great shade of pink though 😉
Thanks Sue. x
I LOVE that colour, it looks so great against the white backdrop and your kitchen is gorgeous!
thank you Cate x
Brabantia is one of my favourite brands of all time. Every bin in my home is Brabantia. I love the quality of them and like you say it’s worth investing a little more in a bin so they last longer. Love the back to Wall feature of this one. And the colour is gorgeous too. Plus I am so jealous of your gorgeous white kitchen.
Thank you Stacey. I know what you mean, once you have used a Brabantia, it’s difficult to try something else. Such great quality bins from Binopolis and the colours are great.
