The Willow Ottoman bed from Button and Sprung.

Willow ottoman bedAs I write this post, my daughter is travelling back from university for a week’s break. She has not yet seen her bedroom revamp, and the new Ottoman bed.

I can’t wait for her to experience her new Button and Sprung Willow Double Ottoman bed in a Pale Rose Linwood Juno fabric.

My daughter, like I, absolutely love pink, hence it was the chosen palette for the room.ottoman bed with storageI’m sure I’m not the only mother who struggles with minimising clutter.

With my daughter being away at university, this was the perfect opportunity to revamp and refresh.Willow ottoman bed from Button and SprungWhen I saw this double Willow bed at Button and Sprung’s showroom, I knew it was the one.

Prior to this, my daughter had a white wrought iron bed.

Since she spends a lot of time in bed watching You Tube, Netflix and even writing her essays on the laptop, that wrought iron headboard couldn’t have been that comfortable for her.under bed storage with the Willow ottoman bedThat plush pillow headboard on The Willow bed was one of the winning features influencing my choice. Believe me, it’s super comfortable, just like a sofa.Back to the the decluttering. There were books and note folders in the room forming an unsightly pile, which I proceeded to place into storage boxes. These gorgeous heart prints above the fireplace are by Hannah Carvell. The piece de resistance of this Willow Ottoman bed is its storage space under the mattress.

The bed easily opens up with a tug and lift using the pink strap at end of the bed.

The gas strut mechanisms help propel the bed up and holds it in place. Finally, I could hide those storage boxes away, without having to take up more space. So cool right? That plush pillow headboard is so tempting. Now the bedroom is looking spick and span. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she comes home. I’ve also placed some fresh new linen bedding, with a spritz of Lavender to calm the senses.A huge thank you to Button and Sprung for the wonderful ottoman bed that has made my daughter’s room.
