Autumn may be here, but I like to keep my indoors sunny and bright. Karen Walker Runaway Azure Eau de Parfum perfectly epitomises this.
It’s Paradise in an Azure blue bottle. The scent evokes adventures in warmer lands, like running away to your clifftop treehouse.
I’ve been wearing Karen Walker Runaway Azure all day and it’s so lovely.
It has that spicy, smoky scent of Autumn against the sweeter notes of citrus and rose, like an interplay between masculinity and femininity.
As you can see, I’m intending on sharing this wonderful scent with friends and family for Christmas as gifts.
It may seem early to be talking about Christmas, but it always catches up on me unprepared every year.
Karen Walker is a renowned designer from New Zealand. She also designs clothes and the most amazing sunglasses ever.
When asked, Karen describes Runaway Azure as ” a mystical bonfire with smoky amber and warm spices, cardammon, black pepper, and Guaiac wood, sparkling against the lushness of oriental mandarin and rose.”
I normally only go for Spring summery scents, usually something light floral or with citrus tones.
However, Runaway Azure has been able to balance both seasons so well that I’ve been able to transition into a warmer spicier scent, and I’m loving it.
That clear blue bottle is transporting me to the clear waters of the Seychelles or Maldives.
It’s hypnotic looking at the bottle and though it’s cold in London, I feel a glow of optimism and tranquility.
