mother's day Did you know Mother’s day in the UK is on Sunday 11th March? I thought it would be fun to do a Mother’s day gift post, in case any of you are looking for ideas.

As you can see, I have a desk full of goodies here. They are gifts that I have recently received ( with no obligation to post), but since I love them so much, I thought I’d share.  How about some beautiful hardback books as mother’s day gifts?

I absolutely adore coffee table books, and I’m sure if you follow me on Instagram, you will have noticed my growing collection on my coffee table.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to Hardie Grant books for sending me this wonderful selection. If your mother loves Interiors then you’ll have to buy her Kit Kemp’s ‘Every Room Tells A Story’ .

I have always been a huge fan of interior designer Kit Kemp, and love how she boldly mixes colour and patterns together. Her book is certainly a visual feast not to be missed.

For mothers who love to cook, I would highly recommend Sicily by Katie and Giancarlo Caldesi. The book unearths the most beautiful local Italian dishes straight from the largest island in the Mediterranean.

If you have a mother with a sweet tooth and a penchant for travelling ( actually that sounds like me), then ‘The Desserts of New York’ is a must. I can’t wait to explore all those delicious and insta worthy spots when I next go to New York.  For fashion lovers, I simply adore ‘ The Art of Stripes’ by Libby Vanderploeg. I mean, look at the cute cover in pink and red.  I never knew there were so many ways to wear stripes and look stylish at the same time. You can never have too many candles right?

The ones by Miller Harris are a perfect mother’s day gift. Not only do they smell delicious, they come in such cute and colourful jars and packaging too.

Miller Harris have asked me which ones are my favourite, so far it’s a tug of war between the sweet citrus scent of Tangerine Vert and the blackcurrant pear scent of Cassis en Feuille. In case you were wondering about those beautiful plates and milk jar I have used for flowers, they are from Cath Kidston’s Park Wildlife Home collection. The whole collection is gorgeous. I have my eyes on the bunny set too. If your mum is really into beauty, then how about these blushers from Benefit Cosmetics.

The Galifornia golden pink blusher is amazing for a little warm California glow to a Winter’s skin, whilst dandelion gives off a beautiful shimmer.

For fans of Benefit’s Porefessional face primer, I’m loving the new Pearl primer with its additional brightening effect for a radiant look. ( It helps that the tube comes in my favourite pink colour too) mother's day cookies Last but not least, how about a delightful tin of mother’s day bouquet luxe biscuits from Biscuiteers?   The tin contains 16 hand iced biscuits, inspired by the traditional language of floriography. The flowers represent grace, patience, kindness and a mother’s love. Tea time can never come sooner for me with this tin of biscuits at home. They are too pretty to eat too, but that hasn’t stopped me. They also have Gluten free versions, and you can order them online, to be sent straight to your mother. Hope you’ve enjoyed this post. It’s been so fun sharing this with you.

Hope you’ve managed to find something from here, that your mother would like too. I know I would love to receive these gifts on mother’s day.

Wishing you all a wonderful start to your week.

Bridgewater-candle-company-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell It was indeed an honour to be asked to style and photograph this post for Bridgewater Candle Company.

I have always admired the ethos behind this brand, ever since I met them a year ago, whilst I was in the States.

Through a partnership with Rice Bowls, Bridgewater Candles with their ‘Light a Candle Feed a Child Program’, have achieved their goal in 2015, of providing 5.2 million meals to hungry kids around the world. This program started in June 2010.

To celebrate this target achieved, Bridgewater candles have released a new fragrance, appropriately called ‘Let’s Celebrate. They describe the scent as exuberant, bubbly and revel-worthy.

There is definitely that burst of succulent strawberry and mandarin fizz, the floral trio of mimosa, honeysuckle and gardenia, and that infusion of buttery vanilla rum, sandalwood and musk. Bridgewater-candles-Let's-celebrate-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-of-Little-Big-Bell-blog Not only do you get the amazing scent from the candles, but look at the jars they come in.

I’m currently using mine as bookends when I’m not burning the candle.

When the candles are all used up, I can’t wait to fill the jars with colourful candies. What would you fill yours with? Bridgewater-reed-diffuser-Let's-Celebrate-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The Let’s Celebrate scent also comes as a reed diffuser. Bridgewater-reed-diffuser-1-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell-blog The house will soon fill with this wonderful uplifting scent. Bridgewater-candle-scented-sachet-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell My linen cupboard is already reaping the benefits from these scented sachets. Bridgewater-candle-Let's-celebrate-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-of-Little-Big-Bell Yes indeed! I  love what Bridgewater Candles do and their candles.

I would also love to give you a chance to try it with a Giveaway.

This is what you will get: 1 Large Jar Candle, 1 Small Jar Candle, 3 Votives, 1 Reed Diffuser, 3 Sachets and 2 Auto Vent clips.

All you have to do is comment on the blog. Tell me what you would celebrate and with who. This giveaway is open to all internationally and in the UK.

Have a great start to your weeks.
