Christmas-bedroom-decor-Little-Big-Bell Hello all, Christmas is only 3 weeks away!

By looking at this picture, you must think how organised I am with a room looking so festive. If only! This was my son’s room last year. I really need to get my act together this year to create some festive magic for him.

I love Christmas for that glint of excitement and anticipation in my children’s eyes, so creating that special holiday season feel is vital.

I know it’s only 3 weeks away, but you can recreate this look if you want, at a great price too.

I have collaborated with Wayfair to curate a collection of furniture for a child’s room. Take a peek below at my product selections: Little-Big-Bell's-Christmas-Wayfair-edit-2015- I have tried to set the mood by adding pops of red to a neutral backdrop. I have kept the main pieces of furniture such as the bunk bed in white and that red rug with the giant star creates an instant festive feel.

Green and red are classic Christmas colours. However, too much of each when placed together can become visually overwhelming. I’ve decided to use green in small doses, as accent colours in the lighting, set against a dominant palette of red. I have picked the Pagoda 1 mini pendant in green.

The red and white boxes are great for storing new Christmas gifts. They can be tucked into shelving too, like drawers.

The blues in the room soften the overall look. That classic Mickey mouse print will be timeless and it pulls together the blue and red elements of the room.

The red rocking chair above, gives the room a contemporary twist. Perfect for a dad with the little one on lap whilst reading ‘The night before Christmas’ on Christmas Eve.

Hope you like the curation. You can also shop the collection.Take a look at the affordable prices for amazing design. You will be pleasantly surprised. Have a wonderful Christmas all!

Hello all, I’ve been admiring on Instagram, the paper snowflakes that my lovely sister Caroline has used to decorate her Christmas tree. She has kindly provided a step by step tutorial here:

1. Take 2 pieces of plain A4 paper. Fold in an accordion style.
2. Fold the folded paper in the middle and staple.
3. Cut the desired snowflake shapes from each end of the paper ( mirror each end so the snow flake looks uniform throughout).
4. Once both sheets of folded paper has been cut, glue one face to another.
5 Then fan out the snowflake and glue the other end together to make a circle.
6. For larger snowflakes you make need 3 or 4 pieces of paper.

This would be a perfect crafternoon with the kids. Have a lovely week all. x
