Shore-projects-watch-2-Little-Big-Bell I thought it would be fun to show you a shoot that I styled and photographed recently for Shore Projects, a cool watch brand that is inspired by the beauty and fun of the British seaside. Shore-project-2-rose-gold-watch-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The shoot’s theme was ‘Summer and Fun’ and was part of a campaign for Project 2, Shore Projects’s latest collection of four new watch faces.

The four new faces were in silver, gold, rose gold and black.

I picked the Rose gold face called Salcombe. The strap above is in Rose gold.

What’s cool about this watch is its innovative strap mechanism which allows for interchangeable straps.
Shores-project-watch-leather-strap-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell I wanted to create a Summer vintage feel here. Love the light against that lace dress with the Tan suede strap, Shore-projects-Little-Big-Bell and the striking pink Peonies contrasted against that 1960s blue laminate desk. Shore-projects-Salcombe-watch-Pistachio-strap-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell So, to me Summer and fun means bright yellow.

Here I’ve shot the Pistachio green polka dot strap against a beautiful yellow floral Summer skirt. The bright pink and powder blue of the book is just the perfect accent colour to show off the mint. Shore-projects-watch-Summer-fun-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell It was a sunny day with a clear blue sky, time to sunbath on the deck.
Shore-Project-2-watch-rose-gold-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell I must admit, I have fallen in love with this watch.

Rose gold, mint and polka dots, such a great combination.  Shore-projects-baby-blue-watch-strap-Little-Big-Bell Seeing that it is now Summer, I thought it would be fun to use this cute dress with pastel ice cream cones in the shoot.

The watch strap is now a pretty powder blue. I loved matching that pop of orange in both the shoe and that sweet hand held rose.

I think the peach and orange tones really bring out the light blue of the strap. Shore-projects-baby-blue-Summer-fun-Little-Big-Bell Here’s another view. Shore-projects-Summer-florals-Little-Big-B That tint from the Rose gold really looks great with powder blue, don’t you think? Shore-projects-watch-straps-Little-Big-Bell Here they are all together with the interchangeable straps. Time for tea after a day’s shoot. Shore-projects-2-watch-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell What’s great about this watch is that it is Unisex.  Shore-projects-straps-Little-Big-Bell Hope you’ve enjoyed my styling shots.

I never knew photographing watches could be tricky as you need to capture its details at particular angles and avoid reflection, but I had such a fun time doing this.

Wishing you a lovely week ahead.

Jar-lights-Workshop-Brighton-Photo-taken-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell.jpg This Saturday was a wonderful weekend spent with the kids down in Brighton. Whilst they rode the head spinning rides on Brighton Pier with their dad, I had a little time to go exploring with my camera.

It was a wonderful surprise to chance upon a new design / lifestyle store called Workshop, which I believe has only been opened for 5 months.

I love the shop for its utilitarian, organic feel. Everything in there was styled to perfection.

My favourite find, and indeed a purchase, was the above Jar light, all readily wired with a plug.

Workshop-Brighton-Ceramics-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-of-Little-Big-Bell.jpg Love the milky tones of these ceramics and how they bring out the white grain of that wooden bowl.

Workshop-living-Brighton-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell.jpg These stoneware bowls are so charming, with their irregular rims. They look great paired with those grey enamel cups.

Workshop-Brighton-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell.jpg I think this shelf speaks for the shop.

The bottles of bath salts, smelled delicious! They come in 4 fragrances : Geranium, Prickly Pear, Pine and Peppermint.

Workshop-Olive-soap-Marius-Fabre-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell.jpg These Olive oil soaps are perfect for a visiting guest. Don’t they already make you feel so at home in that stoneware bowl?

Do take a peek at their online shop for more amazing goodies. I know I will be back for more!

Hope you’ve all had a great weekend! Have a good week ahead!

Little-Big-Bell-photography.jpg This Bank holiday weekend was a busy one working in the Emergency department. When I had Monday off, I decided I needed to fully unwind.

What better way than to do some styling and photography. I also made a conscious decision not to procrastinate further, but to start using my DSLR camera rather than the frequent convenience of my i-phone.

So here is the result ! What do you think? Now that I’ve started, I’m totally addicted!

Utensilo-flowers-styling-and-photography-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell-blog.jpg I really enjoyed styling this classic Utensilo with seasonal flowers. However, word of warning, it is not waterproof.

Hope you like my photos. Wishing all a wonderful week ahead.
