Little_Big_Bell's_home_1_photo_by_Geraldine_Tan I love to curate and create gallery walls, especially in my two workspaces.

However, I didn’t want all my rooms to have a similar grouping of small artwork.

I have often looked at some of my prints and wished they came in larger versions.

Statement oversized art pieces are now very much on trend and I was excited to learn that Minted could recreate their prints in larger sizes.

I was even more excited when they asked me to pick my favourite print from their collection, so that they could recreate a 40×54 inch framed version for me.

You can see it above my sofa.

Going through all the prints from Minted’s art marketplace was tough. Tough because I wanted everything! Such an amazing collection of global talents.

How did I pick?

I decided to focus on the sofa colour. Mint for Minted! ( forgive me, I’m not very witty, it’s the end of the week as I write). Billy-buttons-bouquet-by-Little-Big-Bell Then I realised I should pick something that embodied the Little Big Bell colour palette.

That palette can be seen in the bouquet of flowers which I have arranged above.

Summer-flower-arrangement-by-Little-Big-Bell Bright yellow, shades of pinks, lilacs, peaches and mint.
Colorful-flower-decoration-by-Little-Big-Bell Here’s another arrangement that I made. Minted_larger_size_prints_in_Little_Big_Bell's_home Can you see the same shades in the print? Minted_large_print_by_Kristy_Kapturowski_styling_and_photo_by_Little_Big_Bell My oversized print is called Fragment 3 and it is by Kristy Kapturowski of Hooray Creative.

Kristy is now based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and she draws inspiration for her art from music, film, fashion and her travels. Minted_large_prints You probably saw my living room in a recent post with a nautical theme?

So, it has changed again now. The Little Big Bell household is never static when it comes to redecorating.  Minted_Fragment_3_by_Hooray_Creative_photo_by_Geraldine_Tan_Little_Big_Bell What do you think about the oversized statement print trend? Love it? I certainly do. Minted_40_x_54_inch_prints_photo_by_Little_Big_Bell A scatter of cushions with my new art piece.

The two small cushions at the ends are by Kangan Arora, the second one from the left is from West elm, the central mint one with crosses is by Pencil me in stationery and the pineapple cushion is from Oliver Bonas. Which one is your favourite? Colourful_living_room_Little_Big_Bell My decor definitely doesn’t stay static. I decided to swop the coffee tables round, from the tall to this miniature one.

Actually, this was a table from my recent curated sale with Joss and Main. How-to-style-with-flowers-Little_Big_Bell_ Hope you have enjoyed reading this post.

Just to mention that the print, although large, is not heavy at all. Mine came from America, fully intact.

Have a lovely weekend and thank you Minted for my beautiful print.

( All photography and styling are by Geraldine Tan, editor of Little Big Bell. The Minted print was a gift.)

Little-Big-Bell-workspace-3 So, I have two creative workspaces. You may wonder why I need to have two.

Well, my husband has somehow gravitated to the room above, when he is working from home, so I had to create another area that inspired me.

We are lucky to have so many rooms at home, to allow me to indulge in my love for decorating.

The workspace above has been my most popular photo on Instagram. I wonder whether workspace number two will live up to expectations? Here goes, see below:

Gallery-wall-styled-and-photographed-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Ta-dah! What do you think? I have only in the last 24 hours completed the wall gallery for this area.

I started with 20 framed prints and the 13 prints here were selected when they formed the visual palette that appealed.

Workplace-gallery-Little-Big-Bell I love the gallery for its imperfection. The mixed sizes of frames and the differing gaps between the prints.

Design-blogger's-workspace-Little-Big-Bell The monochrome calendar print above is by Sarah of Coco Lapine Design and the gold foil pressed ‘Magnifique’ print is by Minted.

Creative-work-space-Little-Big-Bell Here’s another view.

Colourful-gallery-wall-1-Little-Big-Bell The pineapple and papaya prints are from Hello Pants.

The stripy bunny print is by La p’tite madeleine.

The ‘find the wonderful’ print is by Zoe Murphy.

The Brooklyn and ‘Why the hell not’ prints are by Alphonnsine .

The mint rabbit print is by Ham.

The Coco Chanel print is from Annechovie.

Colourful-workspace-Little-Big-Bell The bottom right pink print is one of my favourites. It’s a collage of pictures taken by moving the camera in a room full of projections and you can buy it from Coco Lapine Design.

Free-computer-screen-saver-Little-big-Bell Did you spot my desktop wallpaper? Well, this is a collaboration between myself and fine stationery designer Nadine Picone of Pinch me moments, based in New York.

Nadine designed the screen saver from how she perceived the Little Big Bell brand represented. She looked through my Pinterest account’s Sayings to Inspire category and picked this saying ‘Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle’.

What beautiful calligraphy and such an on trend colour palette, which goes so nicely with my wall gallery.

lbb-dullsparkle-iPhone-by-Inch-me-studios Cool thing is, you can download this screen wallpaper for FREE courtesy of Nadine and myself.

Here is the  Desktop or i-phone  versions to download.

Bando-keychain-Little-Big-Bell Ooh la la! Here are my pencils and pens from my favourite shop, Kate Spade.

How-to-create-a bright-workspace-Little-Big-Bell Hope you’ve enjoyed viewing my new gallery wall. How do you think it compares to my other study area?

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.

Valentine's-day-card-by-Lagom-design-Styling-and-photograph-by-Geraldine-Little-Big-Bell I have just returned from a wonderful week in Salt Lake City, where I attended the Alt Summit blogging conference.

As well as learning new ideas for taking my blog to the next level, I have had the opportunity to connect with many inspiring bloggers there.

I have created the vignette above for the wonderful ladies I met at Alt. – You’re simply lovely!

A heads up for my lovely readers – Alt summit is now offering an early bird rate for their Summer conference in June.

Minted-Valentine's-day-2015-gift-styled-andphotographed-by-Geraldine-Little-Big-Bell As well as connecting with like minded creatives, we had the opportunity to mingle with brands and pitch our ideas for collaboration.

I had the great pleasure of meeting with the team behind Minted, an online design marketplace who source the creative work of independent artists and select the best to sell in the form of art, home decor and stationery.

Valentine's-day-gift-boxes-for-the-kids-from-Minted-Little-Big-Bell Here’s some of the cute Valentine’s day designs created by Minted which I have styled. My kids are certainly in for a treat.

Valentine's-day-Minted-Little-Big-Bell All wrapped up now in Minted’s printed fabric. Talking about fabric, they are bringing out a new line of party table cloths.

Valentine's-day-vignette-Little-Big-Bell-blog So Valentine’s day is fast approaching. I decided to play around with my Motex label maker.

Valentine's-card-Little-Big-Bell Here’s a fast and easy card to make. Just punch the words and stick! Simple but says it all.

Valentine's-day-love-heart-sweets-Little-Big-Bell Like Halloween, I get the impression that Valentine’s day is celebrated by children more in the U.S. than here in Britain and Europe.

Valentine's-candy-Little-Big-Bell I just can’t resist packing these heart shaped candies into my beautiful gold foiled paper bags.

Now the question is, will my young son take it to school to give to his little friends? Let’s just say I’m working on it. Pretty candies can’t go to waste right?

Or I may well have to resort to bringing it to work. Doctors do need all the sugar they can get to survive a full busy day in the Emergency department.

Eat-cake-and-drink-cocktails-in-bed-Little-Big-Bell Wouldn’t it be nice to have this for Valentine’s day? I might have to direct my wonderful husband to my Cocktails Pinterest board.

Valentine's-day-sweets-Little-Big-Bell Sweet treats, cocktails and party glitter, but what alternatives apart from that and flowers?

Vana-Chupp-Je-t'aime-Great.ly-Little-Big-Bell Gold foiled stationery is so on trend at the moment. It was not that long ago that I got my gold foiled business cards made, a collaboration with Studio Sarah London.

I have stocked the above beautiful ‘Je t’aime’ print by the talented Vana Chupp in my Great.ly shop. A perfect Valentine’s gift for him or her.

Inkspot-foil-tray-great.ly-Little-Big-Bell Then there is this tray by Inkspot Workshop which can be gold foiled to your custom words, a special meaningful something between loved ones.

I think I might get one made with the words Sparkle and Shine, in line with my new business cards.

Paper-heart-balloons-designed-by-Geraldine-Tan-of-Little-Big-Bell-blog Some glitter and pastel heart balloons I’ve created for you, my readers. Wishing you all in advance a happy Valentine’s day!

See you next week! I have a whole string of exciting collaborations coming up, can’t wait to show you.

( All photos and styling are by Geraldine Tan of Little Big Bell, the exceptions are the print by Vana Chupp and Inkspot Workshop).
