House-boat-party-Little-Big-Bell A fortnight ago, I was invited to a bloggers party on a houseboat, complete with bubbly and candies on King’s Coss canal in London. Floating-cinema The icing on the cake was that it was a Floating Cinema.

Let’s play guess what film we watched?

Just for fun, I’m going to include some quotes from the show throughout the post.

Apologies in advance if it doesn’t totally sound like me.

Anyway, when I told my daughter I was going to watch one of her favourite films on a barge, I had hoped she would have thought that “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom”, but that was not to be. House-boat-cards-by-Scout-Editions-featured-on-Little-Big-Bell We passed loads of colourful houseboats, just like the ones illustrated above by my friend Pui of Scout Editions. Currys-movie-night-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Curry’s, one of UK’s leading electrical store hosted this fun party.

I think it was pretty obvious we had popcorn. The-floating-cinema-with-Curry's-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell I was going to wear my pink Kate Spade dress, but then realised it was Sunday and it’s only “On Wednesday we wear pink”. So it had to be a blue and green colour blocked dress.

Want to check out what was in my “You can’t sit with us” handbag? ( You have either got the film by now or I’ve completely lost you in this post.)

Anyway, you can see I am a real Benefit cosmetics fan and Quay Australia sunglasses are totally “fetch”.

Love the holographic effect of the floating cinema’s programme leaflet. Bando-girl-gang-party-styling-and-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The party on the barge was so “grool” ( great and cool combine).

There was sparkling wine with raspberries and bags of candies which included my favourite Flying saucer sweets, love its sherbet fizz when the coloured rice paper melt in the mouth. Outdoor-cinema The film we watched was from a Acer projector.

Now I really need one to recreate this outdoor film party scene. It would be perfect for my daughter’s birthday, in my back garden, before Summer goes.

What’s missing? Oh yes, the birthday cake. “I wish I could bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat it and be happy!”.

Oh wait, no need to wish. anges-de-sucre-photo-by-little-big-bell I can just get this gorgeous one from Anges de Sucre.

Have you guessed the film? It’s none other than Mean Girls, starring Lindsay Lohan.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this and that I didn’t lose you with all those quotes. Just a heads up, the Floating cinema is running till 20th September, so do check it out.

Back soon with more fun and colourful posts. Happy Bank holiday for those in the UK and everyone else, a happy weekend.

Don’t miss a post and follow me on Bloglovin.

Little-Big-Bell-work-space-1-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan I’ve been wanting to show you my second work space for quite some time now. This weekend was the first in a long while that I wasn’t working at the hospital.

It was also lucky that the sun decided to peek through those thick Winter clouds, allowing me to shoot with my DSLR camera.

This post consists of two areas of the study. There will be a part 2 and 3 of the study to come in subsequent posts.

So here it is!  A pastel palette of pinks, peach and yellows, complimented by accents of copper and gold.

Hay-denmark-Little-Big-Bell These storage boxes are from Hay of Denmark. I really like how the copper cookie cutter draws the eye to the peachy tones.

Scout-Editions-bird-postcards-featured-on-Little-Big-Bell These beautiful bird postcards were given to me by my Instagram friend Pui of Scout Editions. Aren’t they adorable?

Little-Big-Bell-workspace-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan I absolutely adore all things Kate Spade and there will be more to come in my next workspace post. This paper tray with its gold tinted mirror has been one of my most treasured finds. I love how it reflects and shows off the pretty patterns from my stationery.

Little-Big-Bell's-workspace-photo-and-styling-3-by-Geraldine-Tan Talking about stationery, have you checked out Studio Sarah’s new collection? I’m loving that grey grid card with gold corners that she sent me.

Stationery-Little-Big-Bell A palette of pinks and grey blues here before a slight change in colour tone, as I show you the recessed shelf area nearby.

Rise-art-M-L-James-Little-Big-Bell's-study Here it is! Brighter pops of colours with the metal accents as before.

The print above is by Lisa James from Rise Art, an online art platform that sells original and limited edition prints. They even have a ‘try before you buy’ service.

Mid century modern home decor with bright colours are very much in fashion at the moment, this print perfectly embodies that trend.

Kate-Spade-polka-dots-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The trays from Hay provide endless fun as the inserts can be moved around to form different permutations of colour.

Kate-Spade-candle-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Love the polka dots, gold and inspirational saying on my Kate Spade candle. These are such perfect Christmas gifts for friends.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this post. There will be more of this study to come in the new year.

My next post will be a Christmas theme.

Have a great start to your weeks.
