The Couture collection wallpaper by Cole and Son and Harrods Interior Design to celebrate Harrods’ 175th anniversary is launching soon.
I attended a party on the rooftop terrace of Studio Frantzen in Harrods to celebrate this collaboration.
Neill Strain created these beautiful bouquets for our table.
Those peonies and orchids are absolutely divine.
Niamh Wright from Cole and Son, showed us her water colouring technique. She painted effortlessly. Definitely a skill to admire. The Couture collection wallpaper is between Cole and son under Marie Karlsson & Harrods interior under Letitia Fitzgibbon.
The muse for the wallpaper collection were the haute couture fashion illustrations from the archive Harrods magazine covers. The illustrations were bespoke creations and what a fantastic collection don’t you think?
Maybe Harrods should put some of those drawings into life creations for a fashion show.
The wallpapers come in a series of colour ways, but my favourite is the colourful one.Pieces of homeware from Harrods paired well with the wallpaper backdrop.
That canary yellow Hermes tableware set is stunning. Here are some of the paintings that Niamh had done. The same Couture collection comes as cushion covers too. Very cute and elegant don’t you think?
Anyway, hope you enjoyed finding out about this collection, I will be back again with more posts.
