I’m no stranger to hybrid mattresses and in fact love the combination of memory foam and springs.
I’ve previously slept on a Simba Hybrid mattress in an apartment hotel whilst travelling and found it super comfortable.
So when my daughter asked me what mattress she should get for her new rental home, Simba was at the forefront of my mind.
Sleep is such an important aspect of life so I’ve always taken it seriously when investing in beds and mattresses for our homes.
However, the best need not be the most expensive, a mistake I have made for our Paris home. We spent a huge (obscene) sum of money on Tréca Paris handmade mattresses to realise how uncomfortable they were. In fact we both developed hip pain on lying on those stiff mattresses despite choosing the softer versions. Some might say get a mattress topper which we have resorted to but why the expense when a hybrid mattress like Simba can do the job?
Being a medical doctor, I should have known better. If you are a deep sleeper who seldom turn, then pressure on stiff mattresses that don’t redistribute weight can cause pain on bony parts.
The combination of memory foam and springs is the solution here.
Simba Hybrid mattress has a nine-zoned, responsive memory foam base providing extra support for hips and shoulders giving comfort and redistributing weight, whilst the patented Aerocoil microsprings provide support and responds to sleep movement without disrupting it.
Another bonus is Simba’s breathable cover and Simbatex foam which seem to be able to regulate temperature in bed so there’s no overheating. The cover is removable and machine washable too.
Anyway, my daughter has heeded my advice and has ordered a Simba Hybrid mattress. The price point is also very reasonable for the high quality mattress you get.
I’ll be adding a shot of her bed with her mattress soon and of course ask how she found it.
