Declutter and organise is on the cards now that Spring and long bank holiday weekends are around the corner. I’m doing this with the help of various storage solutions from Very.

I have decided to tackle different locations at home that I have been putting off, but now require some attention.

Recently, I changed my living room with a new ottoman as a coffee table.

I needed a solid and stable surface on my ottoman to store and burn my scented candles .

This rectangular tray with adjustable handles was perfect both as a storage and decor solution.

There’s always random items and magazines all over my living room, so I have been looking for some basket containers to hide things away.

These attractive natural and black baskets crafted from poly rattan over an iron frame did the trick and fitted nicely into the space under my shelving unit.

The basket was the perfect size for my glossy magazines.

This process of organising in the living room spurred me on to declutter and throw away all those magazines I no longer needed, and to only keep the ones that will be a useful resource.

The baskets also came in a large and small round form. I have used the large one as a laundry basket. The handles made it easy to transport heavy linen and clothes down to the laundry room.

Very have more laundry organisation solutions if you’d like to check them out.

One thing that has been bothering me for a while has been boot storage solutions.

We live in a Victorian terrace house with a narrow hallway. I have a cupboard with drawers for shoes but boots were invariably too big to fit into them.

I must admit, I was getting fed up with a messy hall corridor.
