cool tech gadgets 5 cool tech gadgets you may not be able to live without.

I thought I’d introduce you to some of the cool tech gadgets that I have added to my desk.

If you are tired of having to conceal tech gadgets that don’t fit with the aesthetic of your workspace, then look no further than SODA Says.

SODA stands for School Of Digital Age and is a carefully curated collection of technology gadgets for savvy women with style.

I have 5 pieces of gadgets to introduce you to: 1.The Penclic Mini Keyboard KB3 by penclic.

First of all, are you tired of all the “same-ish” silver or black keyboards out there, or are you suffering repetitive strain from typing?

Well, I’ve got good news for you. You can now get pink or gold keyboards. How good looking is my cute pink keyboard? What’s even better is the fact that you can connect to it via bluetooth to your phone, iPad or laptop too.

Imagine typing your answers to your phone Instagram comments on keyboard. If you suffer from repetitive strain, then this is a great keyboard. It’s ergonomically designed for comfort and has a light touch feature that makes typing super comfortable and easy. cool tech gadgets 2.Lexon Peas.

Who has multiple devices that need charging but no extra plug points or even usb ports on their computer available?

I’ve got my hands raised up high. In fact that is the same response of everyone in my household. Check out the Lexon Peas, with multiple USB ports. This is a must I think for most households.

You wouldn’t believe how every member of family had said “ oh that’s useful. Can I have it?”

It’s a great gift idea too.

I love mine in this deep petrol blue, but you can get it in a green too. 3.bGem Bluetooth earphones by Krea Funk.

Do you spot the super cool pink earphones on my desk?

They come in three ear tip sizes so you can pick the right fit and they won’t fall out.

Isn’t it great to have no fiddly wires around?

It’ll be perfect for when you want to listen to music when jogging. Not that I jog, but maybe this may spur me on? Other features include up to four hours of playback time, a built-in microphone, touch button control, and a bluetooth range of 10m.

Mine are a pretty pale pink, but they also come in black or blue too. 4. Anti blue light glasses.

The very fact these glasses now exist have made me reassess my blue light exposure from computer screens and phone.

Did you know that blue light overload can apparently cause dry eyes, fatigue, blurry vision and headaches?

I must admit that I do get those symptoms some time, but haven’t attributed it to blue light exposure. I’m going to wear them over the next couple of weeks, and will report back here soon. They look stylish in a tortoise shell pattern but come in black too. 5.The Super Power bank.

Last but not least, the Soda Says power bank. We all need one of these in our lives don’t we?

I’m finding the longer I have my phone, the faster its battery power becomes drained.

Being an interiors blogger, I do frequently cover events, so having a power bank would just make life so easy.

I absolutely adore this pink hue, and it has a rubberised soft to touch finish which makes you want to hold it all the time. ( Well, that’s how I feel anyway).

They come in blue and green too. So what do you think? Aren’t they all so aesthetically pleasing and useful?

Which one is your favourite?  Hope you’ve enjoyed this post on cool tech gadgets. Do check out Soda Says online, to see many more of their cool tech gadgets.

Finally, there is a giveaway on my instagram for the penclic keyboard from Sunday 24th March till Friday 29th March 2019, opened to all U.K residents. Hope you will participate there. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.

style a desk How to style a desk space for less with my top 10 Homesense finds.

Following on from my recent living room post, to celebrate Homesense’s 10th birthday, I thought I’d share with you my next 10 Homesense finds.

This time it’s a style a desk post, for the revamp of my workspace.

I know I’ve blogged about my workspace many times, but I thought I’d show you how I would add to it for less.

I’ve used my existing work desk and chair, but you could find similar at Homesense too. Unlike other retailers that buy seasonally, Homesense buys throughout the year, which means there’s always something unique to find at the store.

I must admit, I love the thrill of “the hunt” for something quirky and cool.  My new 10 Homesense finds are also my 10 ingredients for a cute workspace. The total cost was less than £120. Here’s what I bought:

  1. Art prints
  2. Canvas art
  3. Colourful storage
  4. Books
  5. Fabulous mug
  6. Desk stationery
  7. Photo frame
  8. Jug for flowers
  9. Faux flower
  10. Fluffy rug

style a desk I’ve combined some of my new art prints with existing ones. The 2 typography prints on the right and the scenic canvas art at the top were from Homesense. Can you believe my ‘Rebel Rebel’ and ‘Good thing’ art prints were £7 each with the frames?  I absolutely adore the colour palette. Isn’t that minty green divine? The canvas art print caught my eye for its beautiful blue and white tones. It’s the perfect piece to have for instant calm, when work gets too stressful. Something like this would usually cost in excess of £80. I got mine for an amazing £19.99.  No desk area is complete without storage. If you don’t have drawers, then boxes can come in handy. I was so excited to find these colourful boxes with brassware. I got the large box for only £6.99 and the smaller one for £5.99. Homesense doesn’t just sell home decor, they even have a section selling books. I found lots of interesting titles, with the added bonus of beautiful covers that would make great props and decor to style a desk. Another desk essential is stationery. Any excuse for me to explore the stationery aisle and I’m there. I was totally spoilt for choice and finally settled for a rainbow clip board A4 note pad at just £5.99. You’ve got to have a tea or coffee break whilst at work right? I’ve picked this cute pink mug to go with my desk decor. It really was a steal at £6.50 from an original rrp of £12.50. As you can tell, I like to layer my desk. So I have the back layer which is the gallery wall, followed by a middle display layer with objects of differing heights, to add interest. The front layer should be relatively clear for efficient working.

I’ve already mentioned a few of the objects I use for the middle layer of my desk such as the storage boxes, books and mug.

The other two decorative accessories that I got from Homesense was a photo frame and a jug with flowers.

I found the beautiful turquoise blue frame for less than £5 and that gorgeous jug was only £6.99 from a rrp of £18. That’s a great saving don’t you think? I’ve placed a faux Peony, also from Homesense in the jug. The Peony came in a large stem with 3 to 4 flowers at £2.99. Lastly, to complete the look of my workspace is this cute fluffy pink and white Moroccan inspired rug. So much better with the pink don’t you think? I got mine for £49.99. Hope you’ve enjoyed my post on How to style a desk space for less with my top 10 Homesense finds.

I will be back before the end of the month with another Top 10 Homesense Finds room reveal.

In the meantime, if you want to find a Homesense near you, there are over 50 stores in the U.K. Find your closest one here.
