Winter continues to linger on in London with its bitterly cold winds. I’ve decided to fast forward the seasons with a Spring refresh of my living room.
A Spring refresh can easily be done on a limited budget. I’ve decided to style my room with Sainsbury’s new homewares collection called Ethereal.
My first step to creating that ‘Spring is here’ feel, was to put together a pretty bouquet of pastel blooms.
Flowers never fail to create that instant lift of warmth and happiness to a space.
Step two was to add bright pops of colour to the sofa. I have decided to replace my Winter cushions with these sunshine yellow Ethereal Geo embroided cushions and Mediterranean Sea blue Crewel Geo cushions.
Step three: Keep a cosy feel without the need for a chunky knit throw or fleece. I have chosen a light Duck Egg blue Herringbone Throw to bridge the seasonal transition.
Step four: sip floral teas for that heady scent of Spring. My cute round tray and blue mug are also from Sainsbury’s Ethereal range.
Here they are all together.
Another view.
As light is low and limited during the Winter months, the addition of these pops of colour can really light up a space.
What do you think? Does it feel like Spring to you?
A Spring refresh also calls for a Spring clean. Whilst browsing through Sainsbury’s Ethereal range, I spotted these wooden storage drawers.
It now sits perfectly on my work desk as a stationery tidy.
Definitely welcomed extra storage and all within an arm’s reach.
Now that I have a little bit of Spring in my home , I always look forward to returning home to unwind from the cold.
Hope you have enjoyed this post. Do take a peek at Sainsbury’s new Ethereal home range, to add a bit of Spring to your indoors.
