Samsung-serif-lifestyle-photography-16-by-Geraldine_tan-Little-Big-Bell I am so excited to show you the Samsung Serif TV.

I don’t normally get excited about televisions, because they are all the same, a square box with an aesthetically unattractive back, that you really want to just conceal.

Then, there are the stands that they come in, which just don’t quite do it for me.

That was how I felt about televisions, until I set my eyes on the Samsung Serif (image above).

Isn’t it a work of art? It fits in so well in my living room. Samsung-Serif-lifestyle-photography-15-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Look at those elegant tubular legs and that slimline side profile.

It comes with a colour coordinated, fabric covered back panel that is attached on by magnets.

The panel gives it a sleek seamless surface.

I can now have a television that I can treat as a piece of modern art or furniture.

I can display it at all angles in the room, and there is no unsightly ports or connectors in view.

The Serif is light and portable, and their legs are easily twisted on and off. Samsung-easter-c Designed by the two renowned designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Samsung Serif TV comes in three sizes and colours. There is dark blue ( which is very nearly black), white and red.

Here is the red one with some Easter styling I did earlier on in the year.

The base of the Serif has a solid flared footing, which keeps it stable when placed on other surfaces. Samsung-serif-lifestyle-photography-6a-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The Serif is perfect for small space living. It can be displayed on a mantelpiece or shelf in an alcove.

I have placed my mini red Serif TV on a shelf amongst books and decorative accessories. Samsung-serif-lifestyle-photography-14-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The wonderful thing about the Serif is its portability. It can be placed anywhere in the house.

I would love to have a large Samsung Serif TV at the end of my Eames lounger. The Serif’s design is as classic as an Eames. Samsung-serif-lifestyle-photography-13a-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Love its modern parred back simplicity. It absolutely fits in with all my design collections on the shelf. Samsung-serif-lifestyle-photography-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Although I have placed the red Samsung Serif here against a white wall, I think it would also look great when contrasted against a colourful or dark wall.

Against a darker pigment, the red around the screen will pop, for example setting the red against an Indigo blue wall. Samsung-serif-1-photography-14-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Green is big in interiors this coming Autumn/Winter. The red screen would fit in well with this trend, I can imagine it in a room with a Sage green velvet sofa, lots of indoor plants/foliage and accessories in gold. Samsung-Serif-lifestyle-photography-5-photo-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Here is the dark blue Serif TV, styled with a feminine touch of pink and gold. Samsung-lifestyle-photography-9-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The Samsung Serif is not just a television, it’s a design feature. The top of its frame is like a little shelf or ledge for display.

I would place small decorative accessories on top, something simple in a uniform colour palette.

It comes in full HD and the largest set has a 4K resolution. All three sizes come with Smart TV features and Bluetooth connectivity.

So you can see why I was so excited about the Samsung Serif. It ticks all the boxes, from design to functionality to portability.

Are you tempted to buy one too?
