colours-that-make-you-happy-at-home Colours at home are indeed an instant happy mood booster.

Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend. Wasn’t it wonderful with the sun shining so bright. It reminded me of my happy new vase from Amara.

It’s the Hay Wide Juice striped yellow glass vase. I’ve decorated it with some dried colourful flowers. Traybakes-barfi-in-ice-cream-colours Talking about colours, I need to share with you some delightful Indian sweets that I tried this weekend too. They are called Barfi truffles, a dense milk based sweet infused with ice cream flavours and colours. This box of treats was sent to me by The Little Traybakes Company.

They are so delicious, light and sweet. So perfect with a cup of coffee right? dried-flowers-multi-colours If you love the colourful dried flowers, they are from The Happy Blossoms. Flowers do indeed make people happy, especially with those colours right?

What I love about them is that they will never die and fade. Saves a huge amount of money on buying flowers don’t you think?

Although, after saying so, I do love freshly picked flowers too, an instant mood booster too right?

Hope you’ve enjoyed this happy colours post. I’ll be back pretty soon with some new vibrant home decor that I’ve recently discovered.

Have a wonderful week ahead and hope it is sunny where you are.

dried flowers and foliage garlands christmas Deck the halls with boughs of Holly? Definitely no sight of Holly here, but dried flowers and foliage garlands with frosted baubles.

I’ve noticed Christmas 2019 seem to be about dried flowers and foliage garlands. Not only are they beautiful, but a sensible choice too, as they’ll last the test of time through the high traffic areas of the hallway, or at least until Christmas anyway.

As I have recently decorated my hallway with Graham and Brown’s Bloomsbury wallpaper, I wanted to show it off further with some festive decor. dried flowers and foliage garlands hallway So, I enlisted the help of Hayford and Rhodes to help me create the garland that would go with my hallway wallpaper.

I think the natural instinct would be to create a green foliage garland, but Christmas is about fun and colour. I wanted the garland to pick up the blues and pinks of the wallpaper but with the added sparkle of gold and glitter.

It had to be something that would blend with my wallpaper, but also be a design feature of its own.

After a few adjustments, these were the dried flowers and foliage garlands that Hayford and Rhodes came up with for me. I absolutely love them all. They totally match my door wreath too don’t you think? Here’s another view. dried flowers and foliage garlands decor christmas hallway I love how the dried flowers and foliage in the garlands look like they are popping out from the wallpaper, almost like a 3-D effect, don’t you think?

I’m so happy with how it has turned out. Definitely a pop of Christmas cheer as you walk through the front door. So deck the hallways in boughs of Holly it isn’t this Christmas. Will you be decking your hallway in decor too? Have a lovely day all.
