Kate-Spade-London-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell For those who have followed my blog for a while, no doubt will know that I am a huge fan of Kate Spade NY.

This post is all about my Limited edition red Spring forward watering can clutch..

Can you spot it on that beautifully styled desk at London’s Kate Spade shop?

The-Covent-Garden-Academy-of-flowers-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The wonderful people at The Academy of flowers in Covent garden made me this sweet little posy of flowers for the photo shoot.

Kate-Spade-NY-watering-can-bag-photo-and-styling-by-Little-Big-Bell Isn’t this bag so cool?

I absolutely adore it as it screams fun and happiness. Spring is definitely here.

It was made to celebrate Chelsea in Bloom , an annual floral art show, in association with the Royal Horticultural Society.

This year is the show’s 10th anniversary and between the 18th and 23rd May, the streets of Chelsea will be transformed with amazing floral displays.

Kate-Spade-Spring-Forward-watering-can-clutch-photograhed-by-Little-Big-Bell There is also an annual competition for the best floral shop fronts.

Last year, Kate Spade was the Gold winner of this prestigious award.

Kate-Spade-celebrates-Chelsea-in-Bloom-styling-and-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell This year’s theme is ‘Fairy Tales’. I can’t wait to see the creative results.

In addition to a panel award, there is also a People’s champion award. You can vote between the 19th to 21st May here.

Now, for the rest of the photo shoot reveal. A little explanation first:

Every time I go into a Kate Spade store, I notice how beautifully put together the shop associates are in their Kate Spade favourites.

They are also always on hand to give great styling tips.

Today, two of them kindly agreed to do a photo shoot with me during their breaks.

I left them to style their own this season’s look. All will feature my Kate Spade red watering can clutch.

The shoot took place around the bustling vicinity of Covent garden in London. We found lots of Donald Robertson murals to pose against.

Kate-Spade-Flamingo-sheath-dress-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Here is Agnes Bandere. Agnes chose the Flamingo sheath dress with a collection of Kate Spade accessories. I love how she has layered her necklaces.

Kate-Spade-UK-Spring-Forward-watering-can-clutch-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell This is what Agnes said about her dress ” I love flamingos and I love how the shape of this dress shows off my figure. I love layering my jewellery like Coco Chanel. Kate Spade is my favourite for accessories and that’s why I work here.”

Kate-Spade-Spring-forward-watering-can-clutch-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The colour of the flamingos perfectly match the bag. Love the layering of her bracelets here too.

Spring-forward-watering-can-clutch-Kate-Spade-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Such a fun shoot. Agnes has managed to create a style that looked perfect with the bag.

Kate-Spade-Pleated-crepe-kirt-andleopard-dot-layered-tank-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Next, is Natalie Jade Best, Senior sales associate at Kate Spade NY in London.

She is wearing this season’s leopard dot layered tank and pleated crepe skirt.

Kate-Spade-Chelsea-1-in-bloom-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The watering can clutch contrasts well against the pale palette of the outfit and is accentuated against the dark blue tiled wall.

Kate-Spade-Summer-2015-collection-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Here’s what Natalie said ‘ I love this collection! The colours are so perfect for Summer and they really compliment my skin tone. What’s great about these pieces is that I can also wear them in the Winter too by adding a piece of knitwear. And of course the flamingo ring is my ‘favourite party ring’.

Kate-Spade-NY-Spring-forward-watering-can-clutch-styled-andphoto-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell Hope you have all enjoyed the post.  Do check out the Chelsea in Bloom floral art show May 18th to 23rd.

Have a wonderful week!

Kate-Spade-Somerset-cardigan-2-on-Little-Big-Bell 2 weeks ago, I attended the blogging conference, Alt Summit, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fashion it seems is a major part of Alt Summit.

I was lucky to have received the styling expertise of Kate Spade London’s stylist, Meghan Moore. Together, we were able to come up with 2 outfits.

The first outfit above, consisted of the Somerset cardigan in Rose Jade, and the Deco Polka dot Coreen cupcake mini skirt.

The cardigan and skirt are not available on Kate Spade UK’s website, but you may be able to purchase them from the London Sloane Square shop. Alternatively, you can purchase it online from Avenue K , who ship internationally.

The Day Tripper black necklace is available from Kate Spade London.

Geraldine-Tan-in-Kate-spade-Little-Big-Bell So here I am wearing the outfits. I learned a few styling secrets from Meghan. She suggested that the cardigan should be worn buttoned up as a top, and it should also be worn back to front.

The buttons at the back added a lovely visual feature and the plain front worked well with the necklace.

Tucking the top into the skirt was also a trick to draw one’s eyes away from the hips.

Kate-Spade-Netta-black-suede-shoes-1-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell The black suede boots that I wore were called Netta. They were perfect for adding height and super comfortable.

I love the gold metal detailing of the inner heel and the Kate Spade signature bows at the back.

Kate-Spade-Bekki-sweater-1-Little-Big-Bell My second outfit was not too dissimilar. We kept the style similar to what I felt comfortable with. This was the outfit I wore to the evening mini parties at Alt Summit.

We chose the Bekki sweater in a bright pink. I love wearing colours but I was not used to wearing such a bright hue. Surprisingly, it worked well when contrasted against the black Satin gathered skirt . I accessorised it with the same Day Tripper necklace and a fun pair of black and gold flats with the words Pop and Fizz.

Kate-Spade-shoes-pop-fizz-Little-Big-Bell Here’s a close up of my shoes and a glittery Kate Spade bag.

Kate-Spade-wellies-Little-Big-Bell I arrived a day before the conference started, so went to explore Park City, a town busy preparing for the annual Sundance film festival. Park City is also a ski resort, so snow was to be expected.

I was pleased to have brought along my Kate Spade wellington boots (top left). Again, I loved the gold detailing and bow at the back.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the post. This is my first venture into a bit of fashion blogging. I would love to hear what you think.

Wishing you a wonderful day ahead and I will be back with some fun interiors post.

The phography of me in outfits are by Izzy Hudgins, a talented photographer who I met at Alt. The others are by me.

Little-Big-Bell-work-space-1-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan I’ve been wanting to show you my second work space for quite some time now. This weekend was the first in a long while that I wasn’t working at the hospital.

It was also lucky that the sun decided to peek through those thick Winter clouds, allowing me to shoot with my DSLR camera.

This post consists of two areas of the study. There will be a part 2 and 3 of the study to come in subsequent posts.

So here it is!  A pastel palette of pinks, peach and yellows, complimented by accents of copper and gold.

Hay-denmark-Little-Big-Bell These storage boxes are from Hay of Denmark. I really like how the copper cookie cutter draws the eye to the peachy tones.

Scout-Editions-bird-postcards-featured-on-Little-Big-Bell These beautiful bird postcards were given to me by my Instagram friend Pui of Scout Editions. Aren’t they adorable?

Little-Big-Bell-workspace-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan I absolutely adore all things Kate Spade and there will be more to come in my next workspace post. This paper tray with its gold tinted mirror has been one of my most treasured finds. I love how it reflects and shows off the pretty patterns from my stationery.

Little-Big-Bell's-workspace-photo-and-styling-3-by-Geraldine-Tan Talking about stationery, have you checked out Studio Sarah’s new collection? I’m loving that grey grid card with gold corners that she sent me.

Kate-Spade-paper-tray-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell More reflection play against the tray mirror. Been practising Calligraphy with my new pen.

Stationery-Little-Big-Bell A palette of pinks and grey blues here before a slight change in colour tone, as I show you the recessed shelf area nearby.

Rise-art-M-L-James-Little-Big-Bell's-study Here it is! Brighter pops of colours with the metal accents as before.

The print above is by Lisa James from Rise Art, an online art platform that sells original and limited edition prints. They even have a ‘try before you buy’ service.

Mid century modern home decor with bright colours are very much in fashion at the moment, this print perfectly embodies that trend.

Kate-Spade-polka-dots-photo-and-styling-by-Geraldine-Tan-Little-Big-Bell The trays from Hay provide endless fun as the inserts can be moved around to form different permutations of colour.

Kate-Spade-candle-photo-by-Little-Big-Bell Love the polka dots, gold and inspirational saying on my Kate Spade candle. These are such perfect Christmas gifts for friends.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this post. There will be more of this study to come in the new year.

My next post will be a Christmas theme.

Have a great start to your weeks.
