I’ve been wanting to show you my second work space for quite some time now.Β This weekend was the first in a long while that I wasn’t working at the hospital.
It was also lucky that the sun decided to peek through those thick Winter clouds, allowing me to shoot with my DSLR camera.
This post consists of two areas of the study. There will be a part 2 and 3 of the study to come in subsequent posts.
So here it is! Β A pastel palette of pinks, peach and yellows, complimented by accents of copper and gold.
These storage boxes are from Hay of Denmark. I really like how the copper cookie cutter draws the eye to the peachy tones.
These beautiful bird postcards were given to me by my Instagram friend Pui of Scout Editions. Aren’t they adorable?
I absolutely adore all things Kate Spade and there will be more to come in my next workspace post. This paper tray with its gold tinted mirror has been one of my most treasured finds. I love how it reflects and shows off the pretty patterns from my stationery.
Talking about stationery, have you checked out Studio Sarah’s new collection? I’m loving that grey grid card with gold corners that she sent me.
More reflection play against the tray mirror. Been practising Calligraphy with my new pen.
A palette of pinks and grey blues here before a slight change in colour tone, as I show you the recessed shelf area nearby.
Here it is! Brighter pops of colours with the metal accents as before.
The print above is by Lisa James from Rise Art, an online art platform that sells original and limited edition prints. They even have a ‘try before you buy’ service.
Mid century modern home decor with bright colours are very much in fashion at the moment, this print perfectly embodies that trend.
The trays from Hay provide endless fun as the inserts can be moved around to form different permutations of colour.
Love the polka dots, gold and inspirational saying on my Kate Spade candle. These are such perfect Christmas gifts for friends.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this post. There will be more of this study to come in the new year.
My next post will be a Christmas theme.
Have a great start to your weeks.
