Today was a busy day photographing my study. Remember Part one of my study here? So, finally Part 2 is completed. Part 3 is yet to come.
I didn’t quite realise it, but I had begun to incorporate tones similar to Dulux’s colour of the year, Copper Blush into my styling.
Interesting that I take a reverse approach to styling. Come up with the combination swatch (above) after I finish!
It all started with a beautiful dusky pink Rattan chair from Out There InteriorsΒ and everything else just followed.
I bought the Brooklyn print by Alphonnsine whilst I was in America recently. The stool is from the Ikea Brakig range in mint and the cushion is by Kangan Arora.
On the top shelf is the print ‘Find the wonderful’ which is in the actual Dulux Copper Blush colour, created by Zoe Murphy.
The Rattan chair comes in a variety of colours and is handmade in Denmark.
I can’t wait to put it out in the garden when Summer comes. I’m already imagining myself relaxing in the sunshine with a novel.
For now, as it is still Winter, I have placed a sheepskin throw on the chair to give it an extra cosy feel.
Burn a scented candle and write Thank you notes whilst I lounge.
So, what do you think of the colour combinations – Mint, copper Blush, Dusky pink, ice blue and bright pink?
Hope you’ve enjoyed the post. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.
( Product review for Out there Interiors, all styling and photography are by Geraldine Tan of Little Big Bell).
I like this color combination a lot. It is so fresh, great for spring. It also makes me think of some pastell jewelry sprinkled with some pink gold.
Thank you lovely. Pastel jewellery with pink gold sounds divine! x
Looking at just the color palette, the copper blush seems to stick out like a sore thumb, but they translate really well when used together in an actual room. Beautiful styling!!
Thank you Charnelle! π
Lovely as always, Geraldine! I’ve been coming to your blog for probably a year now and it just keeps getting better. I really look forward to the bit of sunshine I get here. Thank you! xo
Thank you so much Rachel for the lovely feedback. I really appreciate it π xx
