Meural Canvas digital art frame that brings true to life art to your home.
There are times when as a parent, I feel I should be exposing my kids more to the world of art.
We are lucky in London because there are a wealth of art galleries to visit for free.
However, being so busy , this often becomes a neglected perk.
The other day, my son showed me his school art journal. He was learning about the works of artists from Van Gogh to Damien Hirst.
I decided I should be embracing his interest in art more, and that’s why I got so excited when I discovered NETGEAR’s Meural Canvas.
You can see the canvas on the left hand side wall of his room.I’ve decided to style a workspace around his Meural Canvas. The Meural Canvas is an amazing piece of technology which brings art to life.
It’s a digital canvas that allows you to subscribe to artwork from galleries around the world.
The image quality is so pristine and life like, with its anti glare screen and ambient light sensor. It’s almost like staring at that art in real life.
Navigating the artwork collection is easy too. You could use the Meural app on your phone or wave your hand in front of the canvas. This weekend marks the birthday of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, renowned author and illustrator of ‘The Little Prince’.To celebrate his birthday, Meural has released a virtual “The Little Prince” storybook, exclusively for the Meural Canvas.
The storybook includes beautiful custom illustrations formatted to fit the screen, providing a new way to interact with the beloved characters and themes of The Little Prince. If you wave your hand upwards in front of the frame’s gesture sensor, text from the story appears on each virtual page, allowing you to read it out loud like you would a traditional book. It’s so fun to read with my son.For those who have read the book, the images are a great talking point too.
The images can be viewed both in portrait and landscape orientation, by using meural’s swivel mount. So many fantastic features in an art frame don’t you think? You can even stream your own photos if you so desired.I can’t wait to walk my son through the galleries of the world from the comfort his room. Imagine having a Klimt, Monet or Turner on your wall, at the touch of a button! I’d like to end my post with a happy birthday to Antoine de Saint-Exupery. His illustrations and writings are simply inspirational.
