What are the key wall art trends of Spring 2021?
Here are some of my thoughts:
Spring 2021 sees the popularity of soft pastel hues of Lilac, pinks, greens and yellows. In fact, these colours are also super popular in the fashion world at the moment.
I’m seeing lots of rounded abstract body or facial figures, hand drawn flowers and checker board patterns.
I think the checker board trends are also linked to the popularity of the Netflix film, the Queen’s Gambit. Have you seen my sofa from the film?
Art exhibition prints
Art exhibition prints are also proving popular on social media , especially ones by Matisse.
With the above wall art trends in mind, I’ve curated a collection of wall art from Desenio, to decorate my daughter’s bedroom as part of a Spring refresh. You can see the results above. What do you think?
However trends aside, Desenio do sell prints that cater for all tastes in art.
I found my prints by using the filter feature to select by colour.
Once I found something I liked, and placed it in my shopping basket, the site suggests similar styles of art, making the curate so much faster and easier.
There’s also a gallery wall tool on Desenio’s site to help you visualise what your wall would look like with the selected prints placed together. Anyway, I’m loving how fresh and bright my daughter’s bedroom now looks. She’s currently away at university, but I hope she’ll like it when she comes home.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this post on wall art trends.
Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.
I will be back soon with more interiors post, including my new kitchen reveal, so watch this space.
