“Connecting Communities “ -imm cologne 2024.
imm cologne, Germany’s biggest international Interiors trade fair will be happening from January 14th to 18th 2024, and I can’t wait.
imm cologne is a great place for interiors enthusiasts to discover new trends for the home in advance of them hitting the market.
Attendees get access to leading interiors brands, start ups, and a first hand view of the up and coming designers, such as at the Pure Talents Contest space.
There is always a sense of community at imm cologne, where like minded professionals mingle socially and professionally.
This year, imm cologne’s new hall structure and format called “The Circles” will enhance that sense of community.
The circular areas from which the format takes its name will be connecting elements and places where trade fair participants can meet and converse.
This holistic approach reflects imm cologne 2024’s central theme of Connecting Communities to foster a sense of a whole industry coming together beyond that of a typical trade fair experience.
One of the Circles will feature installations by STUDIO DESSí, Raw-Edges Design Studio and VANTOT.
An interplay between light, material and hospitality with sculptural elements will be presented.
Sustainability will also be a central theme.
I’m also looking forward to seeing the two “Inspiration Circles”, which serve as trend forecasts and are designed by influencers.
There are 3 sections to the fair, namely Pure, Home and Sleep.
Pure focuses on the luxury and high end market.
Home is where consumer-oriented brands present their offerings, making the German market and interior design industry accessible.
Sleep is a theme area focusing on sleep innovations.
I’m anticipating this fabulous start to the interiors and design season with imm cologne 2024.
It’s always great to have an insight into trends that are seasons ahead.
